yikes. i will not be coming back again. our last experience (last night) was so bad, its given me a complete repulsion towards hibachi/japanese food /: whatever you do, don’t go for dinner. i noticed that whenever we went during lunch (our usual time) things are way better. which is sad because lunch is cheaper, it’s just very evident they don’t care about quality especially on busy dinner nights. they do not make the price of $20-$27 a person worth it AT ALL. i was so surprised, i’d expect this from Fuji sushi (as ive been there during lunch & the food wasn’t anything special) but no sushi x. i’m not even kidding, the only decent thing was the clear soup. but as you know it’s all you can eat + you pay for any waste…so i had to gag everything else down basically. i ordered steak & fried rice for my first solid foods…the steak tasted so different/slightly off that it made me nervous i would get food poisoning lmao. i’m not sure if it was just old but, i was extremely nervous i’d get sick. the fried rice was interesting. it didn’t have that “fried” taste so i could still taste the regular white rice taste if that makes sense. i originally wasn’t gonna order sushi but my brother ordered some so i went ahead & thought it might be good. his shrimp tempura roll came out before mine, he took one bite & said “it tastes like pet store”, & i knew i was in for it. i wanted to die eating my shrimp tempura roll. all the sushi was atrocious & tasted inedible. my brother had another type of roll with the raw salmon on top & he said it smelled vinegary & the taste was not right. we came for lunch maybe 2/3 weeks ago & my brother didn’t have anything negative to say about the sushi then. as i’ve said…be aware, if you don’t want your love of hibachi food ruined…don’t go for...

The sushi you get here when dining in is alright, it’s not great, but it’s not bad. Everything else on the menu is okay too. The food is just mediocre really.
However when it comes to pickup/takeout I would highly discourage you from picking up your food from here.
I ordered some sushi for pickup and it was some of the most disgusting sushi I’ve ever had, it seems they don’t care when it comes to takeout orders. I couldn’t finish the rolls I ordered. I ordered 5 rolls and they forgot to put in one roll so I only ended up with 4, I could only finish one because of how disgusted I was and that was the fried roll I ordered. I had to throw away the rest of the rolls.
The rice was hard and falling apart, in addition the fish was mushy and room temperature. Each piece of each roll was very bland in flavor and all I could taste was the rice and the aftertaste of the oils used for frying the shrimp that were in some of my rolls. One of those rolls were spicy salmon and it was not something I would consider spicy whatsoever. I couldn’t taste any salmon at all, just rice and the mushy texture of what seemed to be salmon.
I dislike writing negative reviews unless I feel strongly about needing to share my experience, I definitely would not recommend anyone...
Read moreI'm usually a Fuji 3 goer but wanted to try a new place that was under the all you can eat style sushi.
The pros: The food was for the most part, good
The cons: They wanted to make me pay the $4 extra for the meal to remove cucumber from the spicry crab salad. Seriously. I'm saving you from having to waste an ingredient by specifying and you're going to upcharge $4 to remove cucumber? Ridiculous. I do the same thing at Fuji 3 the 15+ times we've gone with never having an up charge. I then told her to just leave the cucumber and I'll eat around it to which I was told it would be subject to the waste policy. Absolutely terrible service. If I was asking to customize a sushi roll, I would understand an upcharge...but to remove cucumber from a crab salad that isn't even mixed IN with the salad. Really. I won't be returning and will continue going to my trusted Fuji 3.
On top of this, took them forever to refill my fiance's tea even after several wait staff walked by and saw it. I did not once get a refill on my water until we were almost done with our meal and close to leaving.
Cream cheese was warm in a cold roll for both of us and the rice is really piled into the hand rolls...but the saving grace is that most of the sushi was still good.
Still, customers should be able to customize something so simple without a major upcharge. Won't...
