There is no picture to share⦠the plate just suddenly disappeared!
Tried the cheese wontons (3/10: too sweet for my liking but not greasy and definitely were good, just not a re order item) and the chicken and shrimp teriyaki combo plate with fried rice and vegetables (20/10: perfectly sauced and charred meats, moist AND YOU CANNOT FORGET the vegetables, they almost stole the show, gave the vibe of biting into a perfect seasoned egg roll, not too much cabbage taste).
When I moved to Jacksonville a decade ago I just thought Iād never have good fast food Chinese food again, this place has changed that. Reminds me of what mall chicken teriyaki wishes it was and the fried rice was actually white rice NOT yellow rice. The yum yum sauce is on the sweet side but the hot mustard, they got the right brand because it is perfectly spiced and acidic.
Skip every other Chinese restaurant in Jacksonville, they arenāt good, this, this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI order from this place all the time in DoorDash but yesterday was my first visit in person. It was pretty dead when I showed up, no one behind the counter and no one in store. After 2-3 mins a lady came from the back and took my order. while she cooked it up, more people started to come in the store. So it looks like I beat the lunch rush! The food is always hot and good, the quality of the meat could be better but the teriyaki sauce and fried rice really hit differently so the chicken meat is tolerable. I had to fill up the space so I could get credit for the detailed review, in a nutshell the place is like a hole in the wall, the staff doesnāt wanna talk to you, the food is decent af and pretty cheap. Not something I would recommend to my friends...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve visited this place twice and had great experiences both times. While they have plenty of seating, I noticed that most customers seem to prefer ordering online, as many pick up their food instead of dining in.
During our visits, we tried their lo mein, chicken, and beef teriyaki, all of which were delicious and very affordable. On our second visit, I had the beef noodles, which were tasty, though I would have preferred egg noodles (as shown in the pictures) over the rice noodles. I was informed that beef comes with rice noodles, but I can request to substitute them with egg noodles next timeāsomething I definitely plan to do! Weāre also excited to try their fried rice on...
