I will literally never order from Pizza Hut again, Papa Johns will forever have my business. First, i was emailed a promo for a free large pizza since i signed up my credit card with them on my last order. I decide to use it but they say they will not deliver unless im actually paying at least $10. So I reluctantly order a thing of cheese sticks and boneless buffalo wings in order to top the minimum price for delivery. So to get my free pizza i ended up spending like $18 after tax, tip, etc. I wasn't happy with that but oh well i was hungry so i paid it, or at least attempted to. After the website made me save my card info it then just kept saying there was an error so i had to start over and not use visa pay. After all of this it takes an hour for my food to arrive when the pizza hut is like 10 mins down the road. None of the food was warm. I opened the pizza and some of the slices were upside down as if it had been dropped. The cheese sticks were clearly not fresh. The boneless buffalo chicken tasted horrible. I dipped my finger in the sauce and it legit tasted like vomit. You know that horribly acidic aftertaste you get in your mouth after you are sick to your stomach? Thats what it tasted like. Its no exaggeration my friend thought the same thing who also tasted them. I dont know if it had gone bad, it just tasted that way, or if someone actually threw up in it but it was disgusting and made my stomach hurt. On top of all this they told me to watch my card because they were having issues with online payments. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS
Just FYI papa johns has no minimum order price, gets to you warm and in a timely manner, and tastes like real life food not...
Read moreTelephone operator (Salem) is absolutely rude and is a sorry human being. I made an order online using a coupon that did not specify the crust what-so-ever, nor gave me the option to chose. Immediately after ordering I gave the store a call to see if they would be able to make my order with thin crust. I waited 3 minutes with no answer. I hung up and called back and immediately got an answer. The person on the phonw, who didn't identify them self, immediately responded to me with an accusatory tone without me even saying much of anything. I simply asked if my pizza could be thin crust and they rudely accused me of ordering a stuffed crust pizza. This is baffling, considering thin crust pizzas, as you would imagine, would be cheaper than stufffed crust pizzas. The person answering the phone who I now know is Salem (I had to bother the delivery driver to find out) took none of the above into consideration and rather decided to be a terrible person and rather accuse me of deliberately going out of my way to sabotage their operation and cause issues. All I wanted to know if it was an option. Absolutely rude and uncalled for. They hung up on me after they conceded to giving me a thin crust pizza that I wanted. No charm, no pleasantries. They said they could do it and hung up. Abhorrent behaviour. I'm strongly rethinking my opinions on the company as a whole after this experience. People on the phone shouldn't be rude for any reason. This is repulsive. Pizza Hut, you made good on the past couple of months. It's a shame my opinion of you has been sullied by a bad actor....
Read moreExtremely disappointed in the service I received tonight. This location is very close and convienent to my house. Around 8pm we went to the store to place a carry out order. As we walked in we were never greeted and there was no one at the register. There was one blonde girl with glasses and a red hoodie making pizzas not far in the back she made eye contact with us once, without any type of acknowledgement. She continued making multiple pizzas. My friend and I stood there for quite a while when another gentlemen walked in behind us and waited to order as well. There were multiple employees in the store as we could hear their voices. After atleast 15 minutes of waiting I tried to get the girl I could see by saying” can someone please help us place our order?” She ignored us like she could not hear what I said. Finally I hear someone in the back saying we are slammed right now it’ll be a while. I understand being busy, however if the girl would have just acknowledged us and let us know about the delay it would have been a different experience. I found that to be completely rude and poor customer service. We left without purchasing but went to the Pizza Hut over 6 miles away on old st Augustine road and the employees there were extremely friendly. The employees at southside need some help in their customer service skills....
