Precision Barber Shop — Local services in Jacksonville

I scheduled an appointment with this shop on June 7th for 3:30 PM. I booked it earlier that morning via their website that was listed in a google search. I booked it because I didn't want to spend all afternoon trying to find a barber that was open for walk-ins.

I received an email confirmation 15 minutes later that my appointment had been accepted and it gave me the name of the barber, Daniel Oquendo. When I arrived at 3:25 pm I checked in and to my surprise there was not a barber by the name of Daniel that was there. However one of the barbers onsite said he would text him and he would arrive shortly. I WAITED FOR 45 MINUTES and Daniel never showed up. I patiently waited for the main barber to finish the client he had and it took forever. Some of the barbers were standing around talking and laughing while I continued to wait. FINALLY, the lead barber finished and was able to take me.

When I sat down the barber mentioned something about when people schedule in the app they don't get a notification when someone has booked an appointment. At this point I was just ready to get my hair cut and get out of there. The haircut wasn't terrible but they charged me full price even after their rude mistake. I understand everyone has to make a profit and I dont mind paying for a good product. However their customer service ruined it for me and their lack of empathy or understanding to make it right. Worst barber shop, I've been here maybe 3-4 times and they are always late... First off you have barbers just standing around poking there nose not doing anything for hours. I had scheduled an appointment with a guy named "mookey" or something along those lines, I was scheduled for 11:00 am and I got there on time. When I walked inside I don't even see the dude so I sit down and wait about 30 minutes which is ridiculous since I have an appointment. So I decide to give him a call no answer.... I'm still waiting another 30 minutes, its been about 1 hour and 15 minutes this man still isn't here....

So I ask one of the barbers just standing around picking his nose to call this clown, He picked up and when he told "mookey" he had a client waiting "mookey" acted all surprised like he had no appointment scheduled. Sounded like the dude just got out of bed. So I wait another 10 15 mins dude was a no show the whole time so I just left...

All in all I don't recommend this barber shop even if you are in a rush, these slackers are just so unreliable. Take your time looking find a good...

Last barbershop I went to did my wrong, so I could not return. I called this place up, they didn’t answer. Ok, no biggie I get they may be busy. As I was on my way there they called me back saying that they missed a phone call from this number and I told them I was on the way. No appointment necessary (as far as I know). Walked in probably 5 maybe 6 people all in chairs. Lots of jaguars stuff on display. Sat for maybe 5 minutes and Lori asked me if I had an appointment and told me to come over. Sat in the chair and told her I just wanna clean things up, she knew immediately what I was trying to do. I have never had to speak less and get more from a shop.
