My bf and I come here pretty often for ice cream. It’s pretty good and NORMALLY the customer service is pretty good. Today we came in because he wanted some and I did not. I went to the bathroom while my bf stood in line to order, with a two families ahead of him. While I was in the restroom, one woman (possibly a manager, we don’t know) began to INTERROGATE him and tell him “you know she can’t do that right?” With an attitude. While my bf sat there in line to spend money there. Had I known before we left, I would’ve told her myself but I wasn’t aware. Needless to say, we won’t visit again. Maybe if she had better customer service skills there wouldn’t have been such a line and we could’ve ordered before I went to the bathroom.
Edit: due to the reply of the owner, I will reiterate that our issue is that we didn’t even have time to order. My boyfriend went in line, I went to the bathroom and while he’s holding his ice cream (he’s purchased) the woman keeps chastising him over the same thing? That’s okay though, we definitely won’t be back. An ice cream isn’t worth being accused of abusing a restroom. 🙄 Also, “negative intent” when we came in to buy ice cream and asked just needed a bathroom, lol.💀
We left “happy” because I hadn’t been told yet. We’ve been there several times before. I turned down being served because of health reasons that I shouldn’t have to disclose? Either way, my bf had a very rude interaction and accusation that made him uncomfortable. Read moreI rarely do this. Since we are a military family and respect veteran owned businesses, I will not leave a 1 star review like I would any other business. Besides after several visits, this is the only one that's been not so great. I ordered a sky high sundae that should have crushed oreos, but instead had 5 whole oreos which takes up a lot of space in a cup. Thereby, the conclusion is there is less ice cream. I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager whom didn't ask my name or order details, because she already knew it was messed up! Only she said it's because she gave me too much ice cream, which is laughable! How do you give someone too much ice cream in a small cup filled with WHOLE oreos?? Anyways the assistant manager was rude and talked over me. The manager got on the phone and wanted to give me a discount, but honestly it's not about that. It's customer service that means the most. I'm not sure if we'll visit again, because I don't take lightly to being talked over by someone trying to state their case instead of allowing the customer to say what the problem was. So yesterday my sister and I came in ready for some ice cream until we walked up and there was a Hispanic lady maybe around her early twenties who didn't even seem like she wanted to work and wasn't wearing a name tag so I don't know her name but, that wasn't the problem see the thing was I asked what you guys had in a joking manner she just made like a "ugh" sound under her breath.
