What a great find in beautiful Jacksonville. Our dinner was perfection, from start to finish. Service was excellent, highly attentive yet never overbearing. Romantic setting, warm and welcoming. Our cocktails were made to order, the bartender listened carefully to our requests, then hit the mark exactly. The wine recommendations were equally perfect. Our meals were outstanding…fresh bread, beet salad, salmon, rack of lamb, strawberry dessert. Everything is made in-house and the kitchen’s attention to freshness, quality ingredients, creative taste combinations, presentation, etc…is extraordinary. The sauces were amazing…we would have licked our plates if not in polite company. Miriam and Chef Todd have combined impressive culinary backgrounds with passion and together have created a very special dining experience. We’re sorry we live out of state, otherwise we’d be regulars. The staff is lovely and eager to please. A memorable meal all around.

Incredible! We ate at The restaurant at the Jacksonville Inn when we were staying there on the last night of our week long roadtrip (spanning the Columbia River gorge, mt hood, and the entirety of the Oregon coast) before flying out of Medford the next day. We ate at many great restaurants during our time in Oregon , but this was BY FAR the best meal we had in Oregon! My husband got the pork tenderloin and I got the lemon chicken dish and both were PERFECTLY cooked, beautifully plated, and prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food! The service was excellent as well. Oh and get the chocolate torte! We were honestly blown away and my husband actually said it was one of the top 5 best meals he had ever had! Truly can’t recommend this place enough! If you are staying in Jacksonville, touring wineries in the area, or flying out at Medford Rogue Valley like we were take the time to give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

WOW!!! We hadn't been to the restaurant since the new owners, from Italy, took over. All six of us were absolutely delighted with our experience! The restaurant decor is welcoming and enchanting. The service was exemplary. Every single dish was both artful and delicious! We had the rack of lamb, duck confit, risotto, and king salmon. The desserts were sensational as well. We all agreed that this is one of our new favorite restaurants in the Rogue Valley. We're looking forward to coming for their weekend brunch! There weren't many people at the restaurant the night we were there. With the personalized service we got, I hope they staff more people when they're busy!

I promised myself when the new owners took over and we dined here that I’d never return BUT, it was the only place we could get into on a Britt night! Again, what a disappointment. We were the only ones at the bar and we patiently waited for 30 minutes while the frazzled bartender mixed up drink after drink before ever addressing us. A solo diner sat at the bar and the bartender immediately looks up and offers her a drink and a menu, pours her wine, and takes her order before ever offering us drinks! I stood and got our own menus. She finally takes our drink order, and it takes another 15 minutes to receive our wine and beer from a can. My friend dining with us finally asks if we can order since they have a show to go to, and without ever looking up the bartender says “just give me a minute” and continues mixing dining room drinks. We see a waitress order drinks at the bar, so we ask her if we can order and she calls the bartender over to take our order. When my friend orders her steak medium-rare and waitress comes over (turns out she was the owner) and starts to argue with my friend about the cook on her steak since they are sous vide. She doesn’t just argue but gets aggressive when she requests medium-rare, claiming the cook cannot get it to the right temp since they are sous vide. She finally throws up her hands and says “fine then it’ll come how it comes” and walks away. After another hour of waiting a second glass of wine, beer, and our food, we request an ETA of our food. They could not give us one but finally brought out our over-cooked, dry, covered in sticky glaze chicken wing appetizer, which was served room temp - disappointing. After 2 hours of 2 beer/wine each and wings, we cancelled our order. We told the owner how the other woman who showed up 30 minutes after us was immediately served before we ever got our drinks and she immediately comp’d our whole meal, blaming the bartender for the entire debacle of an evening. Wow! So horrible. Poor staffing, poor service, terrible management of a restaurant, and terrible food. I’ll say it again, I will not be returning to what was once one of our top fine dining...

Superb! I didn't realize that the restaurant was under new management until the end of our meal (hadn't been in years)- we were so impressed with everything. We were there for brunch and the lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs Benedict, bacon - everything was perfect. We also decided to get dessert and were thrilled with their seasonal options. The dessert menu was a bit confusing with a lot of information listed under each dessert- but don't be intimidated. Once it arrived- it all came together and balanced perfectly. It does make it hard to explain what we had- but the pistachio dessert is amazing. Our guest of honor (high school grad) had affagato for the first time... which he chose for the brownie. He loved it and we warned him that he may not often find brownie in an affagato. The service was amazing and at the end of the meal was how we learned that the downstairs section wasn't the only thing that was new- but in fact it has been under new ownership and a new chef for about a year now. All locally sourced- fresh- rotating menu and...
