Placed an order for pick up on a Saturday night-General Tso combination and Sweet and Sour Combination (comes with fried rice and egg roll.) We got the food home and the fried rice looked off-the color was dark and the rice was chopped up-like it was leftover and they tried to revive it. That should have tipped us off to what was to come. We tried to eat the rice but it was bland with an off flavor and we could not finish it. The sweet and sour chicken pieces were small and some were just breading, but the General Tso chicken was terrible. My husband noticed something was not right and picked apart the breaded 'chicken' to discover that it contained no chicken. He commented that it seemed like they had deep fried croutons-like the chicken had been cooked sooo long that it evaporated away. He threw out his meal-and he is not a picky eater. The food seemed old-like bottom of the barrel, old cold toad type of stuff. We will never be ordering...
Read moreI don’t like leaving bad reviews because it makes me feel like a Karen, but I ordered general tsos chicken today that was covered in a bunch of liquid that appeared to be fryer grease, separating from the sauce. I’m leaving a review because this seems to pose genuine public safety concern. I tried to eat the chicken anyways, thinking maybe they changed the recipe for their sauce or something. No, the chicken that I bit into was bitter and there was way too much liquid coming from the outer layer that was fried. The chicken was squishy and literally falling apart. I felt sick after trying to eat a few bites, so I decided to further inspect the chicken and it looked RANCID. Will not be eating here again. If I could post a video of the way the chicken came apart, I would. It’s sad because I used to get dinner from here with my family when I was younger and they were consistently much better quality. Now I’m worried about getting...
Read moreLet me just start off by saying that I'm not a picky eater, usually if it sucks I'll still finish it. I ordered the General's Chicken and they must be using old food, meaning already cooked leftovers, "Pagpag." I'm not kidding there was no chicken in the bites. I felt as if they cooked it so long or more than once to whereas the chicken had shrunk away from the batter and became a crunchy crouton inside the dumpling thing. The fried rice was in the shape of couscous, like it too had been recycled. The egg roll has a slight sour cabbage taste like it was old... Couldn't even get a quater of the way through before I trashed it. Couldn't call back because the place just closed. They told me 10mins over the phone for carry out. How the heck you gonna make fresh food in 10 mins or less? Most likely...
