After being seated for 5 - 10 minutes, obviously forgotten in the peak hour of Memorial Day weekend, the first waiter brought the QR code to scan for the menu. What I don't like about eMenu is that not everyone has a smartphone. Anyway, after placing all the orders as we knew service sucks with the wait and all, we waited for the food to arrive. One guy takes the orders and several others bring the dishes.
The first to arrive was the fish appetizers and were quickly eaten, and 2 minutes later, the spicy chicken tenders came. In a similar fashion, each one got one dish and the other was 2 minutes late. Like the gravy dish arrived first and the naan 2 minutes later. After placing the first entree order for the bihari kebab, it had still not arrived. After everyone had eaten the other's food waiting for their own orders, the waiter brought the check. One of the orders had not even been served, and in the check, there were some other extra items included.
The malai boti kebab was dry and sparsely spiced, and you don't get any taste eating it. The boneless highway dish had good gravy, though it was full of oil, but the meat tasted nothing like it. It tasted like the chicken was added later to the gravy. The fries with Philly steak were good, and Philly steak was also good. The fish tenders are fresh and good, but chicken tenders were stringy and tasteless.
I took the scan of the original order and the check that was presented. The bihari kebab was not served but billed. The beef seekh kebab was not ordered but billed. This place is highly disorganized, so please expect slow service, incorrect orders, delayed orders, incorrect billing, and more.
The waiters wear black gloves while handling food, dirty dishes, cleaning tables, bringing plates, tumblers, etc. Not sure if they change the gloves for each activity. Toilets are not that clean and needed...

Read moreMe and my Husband have been dinning at this restaurant because the food has been really great. Unfortunately today, it was not [3/30/22]. It was the first time it happened, that’s why we were nice enough to leave it at the end and enjoy the rest of our meal. We had the French fries, meat platter, Kashmiri chicken karahi, garlic naans and a plate of plain rice + drinks. We understand that because the meats are on the grill sometimes you won’t tell if the meat/poultry is cooked properly. However, as a couple who have worked in restaurants, you should be properly trained to serve meat/poultry. That’s why Chicago has health standards and training, so it doesn’t happen. While dining, my husband cut into the chicken and discovered that it wasn’t fully cooked. Having pink or red around the meat can be a potential factor for salmonella to which I suggested to not eat anymore. We really didn’t expect a blank expression when we informed the server nor the person finalizing our check. I told the girl at the front that I didn’t know if the server had let them know of the raw chicken and all she said was “you should be told us earlier, so the food could be replaced”. Mind you we didn’t do this because we had other food to eat and didn’t really want to wait another 10 mins for chicken that could come back raw again. Basically the only thing I personally would’ve wanted was a “oh my apologies, I would let the cooks know to keep an eye out so this doesn’t happen again. Thank you for letting us know”. But it did not happen. One less customer who would dine...
