Sad to say Chema,at least this location is a skip. I have been to it and have given it atleast 20 chances to redeem themself. 1st is the chilaquiles, for some reason the cook thinks chilaquiles are a soup... he puts so much sauce on them that it literally invades every section of your plate. The red sauce for some reason is abit sweet instead of static spicy like it should be. Many many MANY times I have requested to switch the beans with extra rice and they always get it wrong, always. The meat they use, weather is arrachera, cecina,al pastor or any other meat seams of the lowest quality, always chewy and honestly tasteless. They do have a large selection of beer I do give then 1 start for that. The food isnt the best, atleast when the regular chef is there. Sometimes the owner comes visits and jumps in the kitchen and cooks and those times its ALOT better. I really wanted to like this place, gave it multiple chances since its around the corner from where I live,I had made suggestions and comment and nothing has gotten better. After about 1 year I went back today, same cook, same rude customer service and unfortunately same watery chilaquiles, same sweet sauce and still forgot to swap the beans...

I asked the waitress if they could re make it and I was given another piece of meat almost instantly, which makes me think it was meant for someone else, that one was still very overcooked so I told them I dont mind re paying, just make sure the steak is rare. The way they handled everything was very nice and professional, however I work in the industry so if anything like this would have happened in my restaurant I would have completely taken the dish out of the bill. Anyways I ended up paying close to 60 bucks for what should have been like a 40 dollar bill. Still left a very nice tip. Maybe next time my dine in experience will be better. I will still continue...
Read moreI'm very disappointed at chemas if I could give zero stars I would. The lady taking orders on the phone in the morning is very rude and rushes you while you are still trying to order. Everytime I order from chemas I pay over $80 and today will be the last time I will order food from here. When I opened my bag their were 3 salsa's that were opened and a mess inside the bag I ordered tacos today and they weren't divided probably and because of that the tacos were soggy and mixed up. It was frustrating because every time i picked up a taco the tortilla would brake and the imbarassing part about it was I had company over! I tried calling the restaurant 4 times...
