I have always been a fan of Congress Pizza. Yesterday 8/3/19 I ordered 2 super stadium pizzas @3:17pm to be delivered to my daughters 3rd birthday party and I was told that they would be delivered in the next hour and 20 mins. As time past I called 3 times asking about my order. The first excuse they gave me was that they didn’t have my phone number but I had already given them my credit card info, name,& address. The second time I was told the driver was 30mins away. Now it’s 5:30pm. The third time they stated that the driver was ten minutes away, after waiting another 30mins my husband decided to call and cancel the order. Less than 60seconds later I got a call from the store manager (who wouldn’t give me her name) cursing me out because we cancelled the order. I had to ask her several times to calm down because I wasn’t screaming and disrespecting her so she shouldn’t do it to me, she stated and I quote “I DON’T HAVE TO BRING IT DOWN CAUSE THIS IS JUST WHO I AM” she also told me that she was going to block us from calling so we wouldn’t be able to order from them again and at this very moment we still had not received our pizza. Fifteen to twenty mins later the driver pulls up with the pizza I told her the order was cancelled and she was very kind about it and I’m assuming she followed protocol and called a manager and apologized for the delay. I refused the order and sent it back because I did not want to get charged for a pizza that I no longer wanted especially after the RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE that I had received from the “Store Manager”. When it was all over my husband had to go order food from another restaurant so that we could feed our guess. Please know who you have watching over your business because if you don’t you will start to lose a lot of good paying customers. Read moreI ordered a supreme pizza and was told that it will take 2 hours. Once I received I noticed that it was burnt underneath. I called and spoke to manager who told me to send pics. I forwarded to her and was told I will get a $10 credit. The next day I called to inform them that wasn't to my satisfaction. I spoke to manager and she said will get back with me. I decided to order pizza the other day and explained to them the manager was supposed to contact me. Just so happen Rita came to the phone and another manager who only would honor the $10. I told them that I no longer wanted to do business with them. But, since I had my $10 credit I called back maybe an hour later to use my credit. They told me I couldn't use because pizza was $10. I had no problem paying the delivery fee. But, then they started being very rude to me and then come up with they don't deliver to that address. I told them to stop it. Read moreThis place has really gone downhill. I first had this pizza about 2 years ago and it was decent at best. Not my favorite but not the worst either. Ive read the reviews about the horrible customer service and though ive never experienced it myself I can definitely see this place doing that to there customers. Everytime I call the person taking the order sounds like hes half asleep and hungover. My main complain about this place is the food, mainly the pizza. Over the years it seems like their pizza is just progressively getting worse and yesterdays pizza has cemented this in my opinion. The crust is a little tough and the sauce is just overall bad when it comes to taste. We also ordered pepperoni and most of the slices were just cheese without pepperoni. The only reason I order from here is because my girlfriend like it but she now agrees that it tastes deifferent than before and thankfully no longer wishes to order from here again.
