El Potosi — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

The weather was perfect for eating outside (2 tables inside, abt 4 tables outside) on the quaint, roofed, cafe-style patio. The food is made when ordered, cash only. I had perfect tacos de chorizo, not too greasy, w cilantro & onion on perfect corn tortillas. My friend had a Super Burrito Suizo. Wow, it was HUGE! He felt it was too good to add the great homemade Rojo y Verde sauces. I had part of that as well. Everything in/on the burrito tasted excellent- the perfectly grilled Carne asada, crema, guacamole,etc. At a time when "fusion" restaurants are too many, El Potosi was a pleasure to find n eat at. I stopped here to grab a burrito after climbing at First Ascent. I don’t know if it was because I was really hungry after my workout or if this place is just bomb. I think it’s the latter. We stopped in on a whim while driving past and am so glad we did.

Every one is so friendly - especially the staff, who bend over backwards to make sure you are happy and dogs are allowed on the quaint patio too!

Beyond the friendly staff, and the decorated patio, the food is great. Solid authentic Mexican food that is above average for your local taco joint.
