I order from this specific Starbucks thru my app. Usually the people are super friendly. The drive thru is always packed, the parking situation is super tight and inconvenient but today was annoying. I wasn't informed on my app nor at the window that they were out of cream cheese for the bagels. I had to actually circle back to the store, wait until the blockade to the small parking lot was cleared in order to enter it because people apparently don't know how to drive. Entered the store. Greeted pleasantly by a staff member and let her know about the cream cheese. She politely informed me they are out and offered a refund. I declined with disappointment and exited the store. I give this experience a 1 because when I ordered the bagel. The app didn't flag that they were out of cream cheese, the staff at the window neglected to inform me which I would have then rejected the bagel and asked for a refund and to inconveniently circle back to the store and go inside which was a project all on its own to be informed they are out of cream cheese is seriously disappointing!
I wouldn't complain about these things if Communication and the option at time of drive thru order handling was COMMUNICATED appropriately.

Read moreI am giving this Starbucks 5 stars because of 2 employees: mainly a young man by the name of Alex who was gracious, kind & gave me service with a smile 😃! I am not sure where the level of customer service has gone these days when as much money as I spend or anybody for that matter in a Starbucks that an employee can be so disrespectful & dismissive. I had Laura check my Starbucks card to see if there was any money on it before I would give her another payment & she literally called me out for having her check my Starbucks card after checking it learning that I had no money on it. Laura then replied to me,” Didn’t you know that there wasn’t any money on the card?!!” I replied befuddled,” No, that’s why I asked you to check my card!?” 🤷🏾♂️ I felt disciplined by a barista after I’d tipped her!! And I tip well by the way, all the time. After which, I asked Alex for a manager which he gladly obliged. However, the way Alex attended to my needs by the time Kaylin arrived (manager on duty, it was after 4pm 2/7/23) I decided to tell the manager how awesome Alex was! Well, she really listened in a way that was so engaging that I told her, I was about to give her give me my tip back but, because Alex displayed such great customer service skills, I decided to leave an even greater tip! Thank God for people with great customer service skills & are kind & smile it really makes a difference. These days people can go anywhere and spend their money, why be nasty to a customer! So thankful for people like Alex & Kaylin who listens with skill & so accommodating! What a great manager! I walked out of this place...
Read moreCame in last week with my mother. At first we were gonna go through the drive through because there was only one car but we were gonna take some drinks for my siblings and didn’t want to hold up the line if another car came so we went inside instead. Once inside we didn’t get acknowledged so we proceeded to look at the product. My mom had chosen a purple Starbucks cup and some coffee. After looking at the rest of the cups for a good 10 minutes we noticed nobody was looking over. Keep in mind there was no other customers in sight. We decided to get closer to the register where we waited another 5 minutes or so. Still nobody even looked up at us. I tried to be patient because I too work in customer service and said “excuse me, we’re ready to order” but on of the girls rudely said “we’re working on some orders so you’re gonna have to wait” although frustrating I still was willing to wait a little more UNTIL she turned around to her other two co workers and mockingly said “wE’re ReAdy tO OrdEr” in a high pitched voice. It was so upsetting we decided to leave. PLEASE GO TO THE STARBUCKS ON IRVING PARK INSTEAD. Went there and they were supper nice even with a lot of...
