I go to this restaurant almost every weekend but this weekend I was told that I am not allowed to pay with a $50 bill when I have multiple times before. When I asked where was the sign stating that paying with a $50 bills against policy, my server said there is no sign but you cannot pay with a $50 bill. This is the first time I’ve ever heard and again I go there anlmost every weekend. Before the whole transaction started, I was told to please hold on and the sever removed herself to the back room with the money that I had gave her just to come back to tell me that I could not use it. This was in the middle of the day. Why I asked her why and explained to her that my change would only be $12. She said we don’t have the change, very unprofessional and hard to believe. I have been a Manager/Leader/Boss for years. There is no way a restaurant does not have change in the middle of the day so close to lunchtime. Now if there’s a new policy in place there needs to be a sign and since there is not a sign, I as a customer should not have been inconvenienced 2 o’clock in the afternoon (on my lunch break) by the shortcomings of an unorganized and unprofessional management. I asked for a little Turkey Tom sandwich for my little niece and when I got home to give her the sandwich there was just guacamole, tomato’s and cucumbers.
