Madame Puffs and Thai Bistro — Restaurant in Lake View Township

As a big fan of Thai food, my dinner at Madame Puffs and Thai Bistro was unlike anything I’ve ever had.

When we think of Asian restaurants, we often assume the nice-looking ones aren’t authentic but Madame Puffs proves otherwise. They truly caught two rabbits here - aesthetic and taste. The upscale interior, attentive service, and stunning food presentation honestly made me feel like I was dining at a Michelin-starred spot.

But it’s not just about looks! The food is bursting with flavor and takes you straight to Thailand. The bang bang shrimp and signature puffs instantly made me want to try the entire menu. I’m pretty adventurous with food, and every dish was such an eye-opening experience.

🤩The khao soi’s gravity-defying noodles were fun, but that rich curry? My mouth is watery all again just by thinking about it.

💕The spicy fish salad was my favorite. It is already fiery enough that I didn’t dare ask for more heat.

🥩The ribeye salad had perfectly cooked steak, balanced by the punch of fish sauce.

🍗The chicken satay was the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen! So aromatic, flavorful, and paired with a dreamy sauce.

🫶🏼And the pork dish (third pic) - sooo tender, with a sauce that could make you finish a whole bowl of rice in a second.

This place was incredible! Absolutely delicious! I walked out on cloud nine. Appetizers- First we had the Smokin Pork Neck. My mom (who has been reviewing food for 30 years) said it was the most delicious she’s ever had! We also had the chicken skins which were crispy and freshly fried. Next was the cucumber salad- balance of rice vinegar and onion was great. Lastly we had two of the puffs. My favorite was the pork. For entrees, we had the pad thai, spicy catfish, and one of the build your own entrees. The pad thai was deconstructed! Awesome presentation and I loved the sauce. My spicy catfish was excellent. Nicely sized chunks of catfish in a delicious sauce. I was still thinking about it 24 hours later. The build your own entree had my dad savoring every bite. He loved the thai basil sauce. I also had the Madame Drink which was unique and lovely. Not too sweet. The service was exceptional. I loved the atmosphere and felt safe to be who I am. This place is very unique in style and concept and then holds up when you eat their food! I will be supporting them as much as possible. Also, if you are thinking of not going because it’s on Western— they did a remodel and it was so quiet inside! It was rush hour and I couldn’t tell at all.
