Not a great experience . Pulled up around 8:30 PM to an empty parking lot. As my wife and I got out of our car we saw someone with a bright blue t-shirt walking down the block but we thought nothing of it. When we walked into the store there was a couple before us in there who were yelling behind the counter "is anyone there?". After about 2 minutes of waiting guess who came out to help? The guy who my wife and I saw walking down the block towards the store when we first pulled up! This literally means that there were customers in the store alone without anyone who actually worked at Rita's to help. No idea where he was at when in theory he should've been behind the counter waiting for customers. Not a good look at all.

Decided to order a quart of Italian ice because this place is pretty far from where we live. Im no expert in Italian ice scooping but I watched the employee cover the top/opening of the quart with Italian Ice without actually filling up the quart itself. His method made it seem like there was Italian ice in the cup but it was actually hollow. Not sure if there wasn't a lot of Italian ice left or what but not what I expected. I asked if he could actually fill up the cup instead of what was he was doing and I was told "you could come back here and do it yourself if you want".

Got home and this is what I was met with (see photo). This is not a result of the Italian ice melting! the cup was just hollow so all the Italian ice he layered at the top sunk to the bottom of the cup. Safe to say we will not...

Idk where to start. The machine broke and splashed all over the place. Limited flavors and the poor staff really tried their best. The lines were out the door solely because poor training and poor machines. Park Ridge location is soooooooo much better.

Did I offend you??? This is my authentic review of my experience. The lines out the door was more because the kids working was having so much issues with the machines... I waited for over 30 minutes just to get 2 gelatinis. It's takes only 3 minutes to complete my order. People that were waiting was also very frustrated because of the wait. Out of 4 custards... 2 of the flavors were out.... instead of vanilla... I had to get cheesecake. Also the twisted flavor was down... it splashed all over the place. I understand you are a small business but your response was horrible and I wouldn't suggest anyone to patronize your location. Now I have to add that the management does not care. Again... for anyone who is reading this... I highly suggest the Park Ridge location... they have better flavors, better service, cleaner facility and there employees are so kind.
