I am always on the skeptical side when it comes to Mexican food. And this restaurant is the reason why. I had a tostada dinner. Had steak as my protein. When I tell you the meat was old, it was old. I couldn’t even finish the first tostada, so it’s already a waste of my money. So I have higher hopes for my Gordita which was made with carnitas. That also tasted like the meat was old. And also to mention, it was very oily. Least you guys can do is cook fresh meat. When steak is old and start to go bad or re warmed after getting cold, it ruins the texture and taste. If you want cheap tacos, that will do the trick than this is the place. I only get tacos from this place, becuase its hard to mess up tacos. I have tried other things on the menu and it was not so good. I think the fact that they use the same cooked meat that's been sitting in the pot kind of gross me out, but like I said you get what you paid for. They need to use fresh. The food is really quite good overall. My only complaint is the extras. We had the 'dinner' and the refried beans were really bad. An odd taste. The burrito and tacos were exceptional.
