Disc golf course isn't anything special, but it's much better than nothing. 9 short to medium holes with minimal obstacles. A few sculptures add some nice atmosphere. The narrow course is between a busy 4 lane road and a river, but the holes are short enough and trees separate the course from the river so there's not much chance of losing a disc. Pedestrians and bikers are common on the path that runs along the park. Path itself is pretty nice, a little bumpy in spots, but no worse than anywhere else...

There is one 400+ hole that kind of doesnt really vibe with the course, throwing drivers while busy traffic is rolling 10 feet to your right is sketchy. Overall a quick lunchtime jaunt in the middle of the city you cant be mad. Threw it backwards with a little safari flare to make it 18. Worth a play if you dont have the hour to drive to...
Read moreA well maintained park strip where I go for the best (and only) "pitch and putt" disc golf course in the surrounding area. Obstacles include McCormick hwy if you overturn a slice, and the occasional picnicking family sprawled out on the "course" who may look at you like you are nuts for throwing discs around the park. Aside from currently (through the pandemic) they have an always clean port o potty so you don't have to be the weirdo peeing...
