Before "The Rona" this Potbelly location was on a pretty regular Sunday lunch rotation for us. We've been there probably a dozen or so times and when Covid hit...well...this location (like so many others) took a big hit.

Now that we're finally on the other side we're trying to get it back in our rotation again. The thing is, the hours are pretty inconsistent. For a while they were open on Sunday...then they weren't...now they're open, like, 10-3 seven days a week...unless they aren't. I understand that getting staffed back up is a challenge.

Other than staffing, this location has usually been pretty great. The Wreck in an amazing mess of a sandwich that always hits my hunger spot. My wife likes the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. The store has never not been clean when we've visited, then again we tend to get there shortly after opening on when we do.

The décor is decidedly J-Town with image of sports and sports players on the walls along with some sports-related posters around the place. I 100% endorse that the trash bins comprise of the trash side and the recycle side. During warmer months there's a garage door arrangement that can be opened for that are inclined to eat outside.

On our most recent visit the store has been very nicely decorated for Christmas, with a tree and the tables have a festive runner and table-top decorations. VERY nice touch!

I'm feeling good about this Potbelly again and hope things...

I write this to inform the management of this sandwich shop that if the employees are going to ask me to wear a mask and i comply. Then it the employee responsibility to keep the tables clean. I was in this shop for maybe 20mins. I didn’t see any or your staff clean anything while I was there. The table I sat at (first table with four chairs as you walk into the business) was dirty from the customer before me. I had to clean the table off and even at that the table was still sticky. I didn’t see any of tables cleaned while I was there cause the staff was more worried about who was invited to the party later on and what new gossip was hot of the list of things to talk about. The staff had pointy of opportunities to clean but they would rather walk out to their car then pick up and clean the tables.

If I’m forced to wear a mask that isn’t needed at all to get my food then they need to keep the place clean. I notice multiple tables that were in the same condition. If they gossiped less and actually forced on what needs to be done then I would be say anything at all. There are four staff member that worked the floor 9/10/2020 at 1:20pm. You want to question people, look at who was working at that time. Clean you shop on a regular bases if you going to make me wear a mask that is only I forced for...

Ordered online, asked to sub bacon for one of the meats on the sandwich because there was no way to do it in the order I put it in the comments. They read the comment. But they didn't sub it. Said it would be an upcharge. Downtown location does this for me all the time. They were rude and said I have to do it in the app. Your BOGO is only available on website or app, but you can't substitute anything?!? And yet you read the comment and still take the tip. I'm done with potbelly, free or not y'all suck. The sandwiches were slopped together with minimum ingredients (one tomato, one pickle, a few shreds of lettuce, one slice of meat) and the bread was stale. You can tell by the owner response that...

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally gave it a chance. The first thing I noticed is how poor the customer service was. The food was very mid. Think Subway quality. We ordered the chicken club. The chicken had no flavor. The hot peppers aided tremendously in adding flavor to this menu option. I highly recommend getting the peppers if you want flavor because everything else about the food was bland. Back to the customer service. We were treated as a bother the entire time we placed an order and the team had no interest in answering any of our questions about the menu options.

Not bad but not outstanding either. I got a roast beef and cheese sandwich and it was terribly skimpy on the meat and cheese. Hot peppers were the best thing about the sandwich and they sell it by the bottle there. Get a jar and put ot on uour Subway sandwich
