#New Review # Tried to revisit this wasteland and first off the gas station is GONE! And it has been for a while. The workers at customer service took about 35 mins to do something that should of taken 5 mins . The original person there had no idea about anything and just kept calling people and they would come and look and call another. Why not train the staff? The store was empty of shoppers (guess they know the service) and items were smaller and priced higher than Costco (comparing store brands) When leaving they use a gun that must tell them how many items to scan and for 7 items they looked for barcodes and scanned 6 of 7 items... This was horribly slow! Again don't go here! #Old 1 Star Review# Horrible experience with Mike (not mgr but claimed to be)! Their response is a form response they left for each other issue! This company doesn't care! First off when we came we were attempting to return an item which the return line was all the way out the door although two people were working one seemed to not have any idea what was going on we waited in line for approximately 35 minutes while there were multiple employees standing around. The shopping experience in general was okay most items are in stock in the store was clean. Upon time to check out we noticed that now the store had six staffed checkouts and eight self checkouts. There were only two staffed checkout Lanes myself in about eight other people were standing in line when suddenly they decided to put a lane closed and told us we had to go somewhere else after waiting there for over 30 minutes at this point multiple people in the line started getting upset we all asked to see a manager and this Mike person came over and said he was the manager which she was not the manager the manager's name according to the receipt is Jose. This Mike individual was completely useless and tried putting somebody from the tire center over who said that's not my job I'm not going to do this instead of Mike pulling one of the many employees that was standing around doing nothing you just walked away after multiple people had choice words the girl who was running the checkout finally started doing some more checkouts but not until after almost an hour had passed of us standing in line this place is ridiculous I understand having short staffed but there were many of people there this was an unexcused scenario that it sounds like they don't care to have...
Read moreThe Tire Center is horrible. My daughter and I are on same membership. She purchased 4 tires last year. Today 8/14/25 she placed a pick up order as have done many pick up orders. Left the store and short distance down the road my "low tire pressure " light came on. Was on a very busy street and was barely able to get off the road. A nice person stopped and removed the tire from her large SUV and put the "donut" on. She drove back to JTown store and was told by the rep in tire center he could not even " look" at the tire because she did not have an appointment and he could not get her in before Tuesday,8/19 and may not get too it then. This is very poor business practices. She had to drive back home with the donut on. Was also told she could do a "walk in" tomorrow but no guarantee they could get to it. You can see the hole from a nail or screw. Tomorrow will take to the dealer where vehicle was purchased to get them to fix or replace the tire. She did tell the guy that she would NOT buy anything from there again. We intend to visit Sam's tomorrow after we fix the problem and CANCEL our membership in person. I personally have been a member since the Preston Street location opened I believe in the 90's. We will now be a Costco member and will repeat our issue with the very disrespectful employee to everyone we know and post to social media to those we don't know. Please avoid the Tire Center at the JTown location of Sam's Club. P.S. The employee also told her she could take the tire to Walmart or somewhere else to have them fix it. Of course at a cost to her when she bought tires with the roadside assistance package. Why would he recommend to go elsewhere. Again another bad business practice. Read moreI have always praised Sam's Club Jeffersontown because of the food, customer service and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, today was the worst time I've had at this store. My son and I were looking at some chicken breasts and there was an older employee with white beard stacking more chicken like he was upset or angry. It seemed like he was just slamming the chicken as he was stacking them that it made us a bit uncomfortable and annoyed while shopping for chickens. We were using the Scan and Go app and my son was trying to scan the price of the chicken he picked when the employee slammed one of the chickens on the one my son was scanning. My son was upset but I told him the old man was probably having a bad day. So my son simply moved the chicken and scanned the one we were getting. As my son was walking away, the old man said "f#@%ing coc#%@*ker!" When he told me that, I was furious because that was uncalled for!! No one deserves to be cursed at!! We spoke with the manager who was very friendly but we weren't sure if the situation would've been handled because he did not take care of it at the time we reported it. As a customer, we shouldn't have been treated this way. My son went to find out what the name of the employee was and asked why he was upset and cursed at him. And all he said was "no I didn't". My son told him the manager was informed about the situation and walked away. I don't know what can be done about this, because it's our word against his.
