I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review but my interaction today brought me here.
The person working the front dine-in register left as soon as I got up there. I was the only person in line, and he just walks away. He proceeded to just ignore me while helping the drive thru. He could clearly see me from what he was doing, but he proceeded to just ignore me. It took him about 5 mins but he finally came back. Again, there’s no line at the dine in register. It’s just me alone standing there.
All I wanted was a gift card. I explain that’s all I want to him, and he says “oh that needs a manager” and turns around and yells for one. As he walks away to go back to what he was doing with the drive thru, he says loudly “you should just give them cash. They’d like that better.” I couldn’t believe an employee was judging a customers choice to buy a gift card and that I’m getting chastised for it at a Taco Bell.
Anyways, I continue to wait out of principle at this point. Does a manager ever show up? No, no one does. A lady comes up and tries to help me but she says she doesn’t know how to do a gift card. She again says that it needs a manager; however no manager comes. I wait 15 mins for someone to come and no one ever does after the girl tries to help me.
I’m still going to get the gift card, but my money won’t go to this franchise. I’ll go to another Taco Bell or I’ll buy it though the app. It’s clear their employees care more about making jokes and judging customers for their financial decisions. Who knows if this place even...
Read moreI visited the Taco Bell in Plain City, Ohio with my daughter, and we both ordered Cantina Bowls. She ordered the chicken bowl, while I ordered the veggie bowl, which according to Taco Bell’s official menu includes black beans. When my order arrived, the beans were missing. I went up to the counter to ask about it, but the first worker I spoke to immediately refused and said beans were not part of the dish, even though I showed them on the website.
After some back and forth, another worker said they would fix it but told us it would take about 20 minutes just to add beans, which didn’t make sense. We waited, but then the restaurant had issues with its machines and began giving refunds to other customers. Even after nearly 40 minutes, I still hadn’t received the beans.
When I followed up again, they told me to bring back the original bowl, but we had already thrown it away after waiting so long. Eventually, they remade the bowl with beans, but the portion was extremely small.
Overall, the customer service was very disappointing. A simple fix turned into a 40+ minute wait and left us...
Read moreThey were busy, however; placed an order for our place of business. The Pepsi was all carbonation & when the front staff was alerted, they just told the customer that it would be the same issue pulling the drink from behind the counter as it was in the self-service spot. They didn't let any other customers or co-workers know about the issue while I was waiting on our order, so everyone this afternoon will have a lovely cup full of carbonation with a hint of Pepsi flavor (we all know that's not cool) - They then stuffed a nearly $51.00 order ALL into the same bag, the bag ripped & when I asked if they could please separate it into 2 new bags, I was met with a blank stare like I was asking for him to donate an organ. We also didn't receive 2 of the items we ordered & the nacho cheese (for the fries) was placed into the bag with the lid off & spilled everywhere. Yes, there are worse things to happen in life...but damn. Get...
