The first thing I would like to say before I start my review is that I would definitely bring my child back here because she did have a lot of fun however I would not book a birthday party again. While searching online for party packages I had the options of choosing different packages that came with different attractions so I technically could of choose the ultimate package with all of the attractions included however there was 1 attraction that was not currently working which it didn’t disclose that during the checkout process online and you would of had to search the website pretty thoroughly to find this info. Thank goodness I ended up going with the deluxe package because I would of been pretty upset that I paid same the same price for all attractions when not all of them where in session at the time. I ended up choosing a glow party for my daughters theme and after a few days I decided to check out the details of my party by visiting my email and I could not locate “glow party” anywhere so just to be sure I emailed urban airs team and spoke with a Tina Huynh asking her if it was indeed a glow party along with some other questions. She emailed me back the next day stating that glow parties are only offered on fridays and my daughters was on a Sunday, so there’s the first red flag and I assumed their website has some glitches to work out but I didn’t make a big deal about it. I sent a follow up emailing asking her if I had an option to upgrade my current package and she emailed me back stating that I would be able to upgrade for $40 more dollars (regular price for ultimate package). I emailed her back and I quote “if we could still get a private room or even a suite then yes I would like to upgrade to ultimate attractions party. If a private room or suite isn’t available for that option then we would like to stay with our current party reservation please. Thank you for your help.” And I also sent an additional email asking her if the ropes course would be open again at the time of our reservation. Tina emailed me back and I quote “You would keep your current room reservation, just the wristband upgrade for all participants will be a total of $40. We do not have any other suites or rooms available any time that day. We are hoping that the ropes course will be open by then but will not know for sure until the middle of next week. “ on 11/26/21 and my daughters party was booked for that following Sunday that they would of known for sure if it would be open or close so I sent an email saying “Okay, for the upgrade if there may not be ropes course on the day of our reservation open, is there anything that’s being offering in place of that additional attraction?” And at this point I could feel her wanting to get a little short maybe from exhaustion or being tired I have no clue but there was days in between some of the emails because they are apparently super understaffed so I’ll give them that. Anyway the next thing she emailed me and I quote said “if you upgrade to the Ultimate Pass, the participants will already have access to all the attractions in the park.” So I followed back with “If an attraction is closed on the day of, then technically they wouldn’t have access to all attractions so then is there a discount to applied for that? Food pass, jump time, anything? Thank you” on 11/26/21….nothing ever came of that. No follow up email, courtesy call nothing. She never responded in regards to my email so that was the 3 red flag because the 2nd one was her coming off as...
Read moreLet me just start by saying I spent almost $600 here for a birthday party for my son. This place is a complete cash grab! We booked a room because the VIP suites were sold out and we knew the tables would be too small - well I’ve seen closets bigger than the “room” they put us in! We had 16 jumpers & 10 non jumpers but apparently they only give a room based on paid jumpers! I purchased the deluxe package which included water bottles for every jumper and a host. Our host seemed okay at first but towards the end we noticed an attitude towards some of the kids in our party as she was cleaning and spraying the table down while cupcakes and items were still on the table as all 20+ of us were trying to make our way out of an overly crowded shoebox! They had games there that they were charging five dollars per game on almost every single game. There was zero seating so unless you were booked in a room a table or the VIP suite you had to stand on your feet the entire time in our case since we had so many people and we were put in such a small room a lot of our guests had to stand the entire time For us to have spent as much money as we did this was absolute letdown. It was not worth the money we could have taken $600 and spent it elsewhere for a party. We know better and have zero intentions of spending any of our money at this place again! They had parties booked everywhere in VIP suites rooms and every single table which I feel like is completely greedy due to them booking up parties at the tables as well that left no seating for any guests. There are only about eight tables by the café area where you can purchase food and drinks And those tables aren’t that big I also booked the reservation paid my deposit urban air then put out a coupon promotion code to get $99 off of a booked party. I called urban air to see if the promotion could be applied. They told me it could not be applied which I found odd since I could add things to increase my total price I wasn’t able to add a promotion to help save some money???? Had it not been for the fact I would’ve lost out on my almost $200 deposit that I paid for the party. I absolutely would’ve canceled off of the principal of them, not allowing the promotion to be added despite the party not happening yet. I definitely feel like this place is robbing people! It’s overly crowded. There is barely any parking and again there is nowhere to sit so I guess they think you’re supposed to jump on a trampoline and not sit down. This place is a disaster cash grab and if you want to spend money for a party with what they charge I definitely recommend booking your party elsewhere like field house Polaris or even a scene 75 situation you would definitely get more bang for your book. We paid for deluxe wristbands for them to be able to participate in all of the activities however it was so overcrowded that for the two hour duration party you spent at least 10 to 15 maybe even 20 minutes in line to do some of those things that you paid to even be able to do. The only side is that the wristband that comes in the package is an all day wristband outside of the two hours that you have for your party room and your party can stay to our case, nobody wanted to stay and jump because everyone had already been standing around for the full two hours also for us to spent $600 2 hours seems like a very short window for a...
Read moreA place like this has great potential. Kids always want a place to play, to have birthday parties, and I absolutely love the idea of work events. Here's the problem. I understand that one of these franchises would cost upwards of $3 million to stand up. What I don't understand is why the franchisee would allow kids to monitor kids for safety. The child staff that I watched were nonchalant, sipping on drinks while they pretended to do their job, and worst of all, areas that should have been monitored didn't have anything close to the definition of order. Let's take pugil sticks for instance. They tend to attract those who like to hit. Let's call these people "violent." I'm not condemning them for that because I admittedly would have loved getting up there and it looks like great fun. However, without adult supervision you end up having the older violent kids standing on the balance beam challenging any 4-6 year old who come their way. Parents were cheering them on, or in some cases there was absolutely no parental supervision.
When our group of small children arrived at the pugil sticks they stood patiently in line and waited while older kids cut in line ahead of them and the other parents said nothing. I watched the older kids do this twice and waited patiently for any of the adults standing around us to say something. They didn't, so I did. I politely asked the older kids to step aside while younger kids took their turn. One of the older kids mouthed off to me and a woman sitting on the side urged some of the other parents (fathers) to stand up to me and say something to me. While they did not say something to me, this could have escalated very quickly. Thankfully it didn't.
I was incredulous that no one from the staff was there to monitor the most violent area of the whole building. I was less incredulous when walking out I saw one of these older kids, presumably without adult supervision, with his lower arm clearly broken and waiting for an ambulance. Doesn't surprise me a bit that a kid with no adult supervision was probably jacking around somewhere, doing something he shouldn't, and broke his arm. Now that parent, or lack thereof, has to pay an ambulance and emergency room bill. Karma is very real.
Since this country has such a history of piss poor parenting, perhaps the business should step in and provide additional adult supervision, especially in areas that attract the most...
