My waitress last night was rude! Walked into the restaurant she was talking poorly about her customers. Asked for a table change she denied us because she said it was due to her ordering our food already and didn't want to confuse our table. I only asked kindly for a seat over where I was. Okay I let it go. Our appetizers came and found a hair on my appetizer after eating, I was annoyed!! The waitress instead of fixing the situation she is inspecting the food in front of me. At the end I allowed the situation go since my plate was then changed. My food came and my pasta smelled horribly. The brocolli tasted over boiled and my friend didint even ordered it to begin with. She ordered instead of broccoli, green peas and she received brocolli instead. The waitress never bothered to stoped and pick up the empty plates on the table. Brought us more water with lemon and didnt take the empty cups. Then I send for the manager to he called after meeting him from complaining the first time about the hair on my plate. I told him about my experience so far and he tried to negotiate his way around the situation. I was NOT letting things go by then. He said he would give me a discount. I looked at my receive and didnt see an any item taken out but only the food I told them to take back. He tried to say he discounted the food we gave back and that's the fix on the receive. I told him no that shouldn't count because my pasta had a smell and it stated weird and the brocolli was bad and there was a hair on my food. At the end he acknowledge I was not playing around. So I decided if he was going to treat me dumb let me be a smart about it. I managed to get a discount for my food after my whole experience. Walked out with fresh food as well. I mean I was not leaving until the situation was fixed. My experience was simple horrible!!! I really didnt like my service and I I definitely did not like the food at all. I couldnt even finish eating my food. And to my surprise my waitress was talking alot of smack about my encounter with her to her other coworkers. Listen girl I was not rude at all to any of you. I was just doing my part to fix the situation that you all caused without blowing up. Listen hun if you dont like your job and are going to continue giving bad service then complain about your customers putting you to work then dont work at applebees get something better! Please I hope if I ever come back you guys do better!...

When my elderly Mom and my Nephew and I walked in we stood waiting until someone walked over and she did not appear as if she were there to see to us, but to check on something behind the customer service area and we were the afterthought. While we informed her of how many would be in our party the rude people who came in behind us yelled over our voices that they were looking for a table for seven. Bad start. When seated, the accommodations were a bit snug but no one came by to ask if we were comfortable, if we'd like appetizers or drinks, nothing. So we had to stop one of the few employees to ask for a more comfortable table. The appetizers we ordered had to be sent back, It seems the wings were leftovers that had been reheated and coated in thick lumpy sauce. Dry and brittle to the bone. Wings should be juicy. with a sauce that drips tantalizingly.. The Alfredo and broccoli chicken tasted like and had the texture of a frozen dinner. So why 5 stars? Because our server (Justin) was trying so very hard to be friendly and accommodating His manner was impeccable to be so young. He was unflustered by our requests when we sent the food back. and very patient with all our requests. Even though he could see that I was not going to be happy with my meal, he remained attentive and helpful throughout. I don't know what has happened to this eatery. The quality of the food is not what it once was. I suppose if you aren't having a burger and fries you might want to go elsewhere. If you find yourself invited there though, do yourself a favor and try to have Justin as your server. He's the brightest spot...
Read moreInattentive service after your food comes out. Unable to request a refill on my toddler's juice before he lost his cool and it was best to just go. Had to ask the hostess to go find waiter. We requested the bill and before we were able to ask for a box to take my son's plate which was left untouched he disappeared again. Had to ask hostess to get manager to pay with a discount offered from previous horrible experience and requested to go box with manager. 10 mins later when my son really lost it Manager was spotted in the back relaxing and laughing with a worker totally forgetting about us. 10 stars to the hostess who took the time to observe, get our bill, our box to go and apologized for yet another horrible experience. If I was reimbursed a discount to return after literally leaving me and my family with horrible taste in our mouths due to undercooked food the previous visit, this experience left us with a worse taste. Applebees franchise should revisit saving on the overhead expense of staff and careless managers as it is equal to or in my ongoing experience, less than a fast food chain. It's lucky...
