Crepe Guru is one of a kind - (obviously) crepe restaurant. These guys have redefined crepes, they have an entire menu designed with crepes as the star with options including both savory and dessert ones. Recently visited them with a friend of mine, the food was flavorful and fabulous. The service was warm and friendly, the menu is pretty simple, quiet vegetarian friendly and they have even star marked the best sellers on the menu. The ambience was hip - they have cool interiors with nice cozy seating area, an open crepe making station and some outdoor seating to soak up the sun. On a side note, found the place a tad expensive but it was definitely worth it.
FYI, while walking to the restaurant, noticed that the sign for the restaurant was pretty small. Keep an eye for it as it is easy to miss. Also, keep note that they don't accept cards. Its cash/venmo only.
We tried the Veggie Supreme and the Nutella Batter dessert crepe. It was my first time trying a savory crepe. The Veggie supreme was flavorful and very filling, an ideal sandwich to have on the go for lunch/dinner. I wish I ordered some hot sauce with the veggie supreme, as I tend to prefer my sandwiches slightly spicy. The best part of the meal was the Nutella Batter dessert crepe. The crepe batter itself had nutella in it, along with that the topping of strawberries and nutella with whipped cream & ice cream on the side was a perfect dessert. If you like chocolate, this would be THE crepe for you. I wouldn't ask them to change it ever, it was just fab.
Recommendations: Savory: Veggie Supreme Dessert: Nutella Batter

Read more• nutella batter - i didn’t particularly enjoy the strawberries because they were too ripe at the time i tried. would be better if they were firm. • the brownie - so so tasty. the brownie didn’t feel stale or brittle but hot and sticky. • tiramisu - was nervy about this because i don’t like coffee but funnily enough it did not taste like coffee at all. • smores - one caveat is that the marshmallows get hard so you need to eat it quickly. perhaps torching them or using fluff instead would help? • stormy daniels - i don’t like bananas but the blondies, reese’s, nutella, and caramel combo is drool worthy.
notes haven’t tried the ny cheesecake yet. as for the nutty apple… i never will because i loathe hot fruit. i had no issue with the space. it’s intimate indoors with some seating outside and the decor is so cool. as for the service, i don’t mind the wait. they’re a bit all over the place but then again im not the type to hound that behavior unless im ticked for a valid reason. overall, you can tell i go here alot so go see for yourself what the hype’s about.
p.s. they accept venmo, cashapp, paypal or zelle and no card so...
Read moreI have the opportunity to provide feedback regarding the delivery service from Crepe Guru in Jersey City. I am a frequent customer and appreciate the convenience of ordering food from home. However, I wanted to raise some concerns about my recent experiences with incomplete orders.
On two separate occasions, the orders I received were not complete, and items were missing from the bag. When I called to inquire about the order, the staff simply stated that they were busy. I’m glad that the uber eats delivers went back to pick up the items that were missing.
As a regular customer, I found this to be frustrating and disappointing. I had enjoyed visiting the establishment in the past, but the recent delivery service has been subpar.
I hope that the staff can take this feedback to heart and work towards improving their order fulfillment process to ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders. I would love to continue supporting Crepe Guru in the future if these issues are resolved.
