Additional update (March 2022): Things have changed quite a bit over the past year. My building is 100-year-old brownstone and there are things that go wrong, but Rhett del Forno and his brother always are on top of things and work diligently to provide a good solution -- and not just taking the fastest/easiest way out. They care about the quality of work being done to the building and the individual units. The del Forno office has become much more responsive to service requests and -- in emergencies -- being able to reach out to Rhett directly has been beneficial.

Update: Still no heat after nearly three months. You have to stay on top of Del Forno because they will ignore you and not take any steps to fix problems. They only care about getting paid. If something in your apartment is broken, be prepared to fix it yourself because Del Forno will not help.

I used to like the Del Fornos but will NEVER make that mistake again. Working with Jessica was a nightmare. You have to constantly manage her like a four-year-old. Don't expect her to be proactive in any way. Simple things, like getting a lease or keys, required dozens of emails, texts, and phone calls. The lack of communication is the biggest hindrance to doing business with Del Forno. Not only did they fail to keep me informed, but they also don't talk to each other. It took a week after I moved in just to get my keys because Jessica and one of her coworkers don't talk to each. There were some simple repairs I requested on my first day here -- after two weeks, Jessica's only response is "I left a message for the owners."

Don't waste your time with this unethical company. I lived in an apartment managed by them for 2 years. When I moved in there is issue with the door lock and they never fixed it. After few times of contacting them but get no response I just give up. However be aware the worst thing will happen when you move out. They withhold my security deposit until I sent email and made phone calls hundreds of times, they simply kick balls between each other or simply don't pick up the phone call. The women called Raquel and the guy called Jesse are the worst unprofessional people you can imagine. Raquel rarely picked up my call and when she picked up she said contact Jesse, Jesse rarely picked up and when he picked up he said he is busy and will email me later but never did. Finally they told me I have to pay for the month even after I moved out!!! I gave them notice through portal, email and phone call many times, and they are fully aware of when I moved out, and yet they deduct almost all my deposit !!! And the funny thing is they can not even mail the security letter properly through USPS, and the tracking number I was given is in "Alert" status. This company is made of shameless ppl who has no ethical values at all, taking advantage of me not being in US due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I will sue them in Jersey Small Claim Court. Stay away...

We would highly recommend going to Vito for any of your buying and/or selling needs as he is not only experienced and capable-but truly cares about the needs and wellbeing of his clients.
