I used to really love this place. It was such a pro of living around the corner. Ever since the pandemic hit, they hired some new people, I assume to pick up the slack since they’re usually on the slow side. I didn’t mind because the food was always consistently good.

Well, things have changed. The new employees are truly insufferable. They are rude, impatient, they’re snarky and talk down to people. They also hang up on you before you’re finished describing the order.

They forget sides at least HALF of the time. I found myself double checking my food before I leave which I should NOT have to do. I find that to be so unprofessional.

Today, Monday, they were closed due to “extreme heat.” Uhhhh excuse me, try living in Miami. I’ve worked in kitchens with no heat, it’s not comfortable, so? Deal with it. I don’t have ac where I work. There’s no ventilation. It’s hot. all. The. Time. I was so so disappointed to see a hand written note written in such poor penmanship that they’re closed today due to the heat. I hate that now, I honestly don’t see myself ordering from there anymore. I ordered at least twice a week did pick up. It got worse and worse. Please consider what I’m saying. I will change my review if changes are made.

EDIT: My husband ordered again. I did not order myself. We got a salad and he got some empanadas, a wrap and cajun fries. I was coming home from a 4 hour drive and i just wanted some quick food.They forgot the chicken for the salad, one of the two empanandas, and did not put ANY cajun mix on the fries. Five star for their lamburghini!

Please! please! call ahead to check what exotic Meats they have available before going...

Yes! I was highly disappointed that they did not have the Camel, or other exotic Meats that they usually have, but because of that, I had the chance to try their lamburghini...

So what intrigued me in the lamburghini is the "tzatziki sauce" on the Ground lamb as a burger, and they delivered holy quaqomoly big effing time! Maybe I'm late to the party! or maybe I'm just getting excited about this combination for no good reason! Maybe!!! The only thing that I can tell you is that I personally have never seen (yet) "tzatziki sauce" on a burger menu.... So the first bite in that concoction was like biting in to a whole new world of opportunity and adventure... Something that I rarely come across theis days in restaurants.

So you know the drill, get their with an empty stomach and an open heart, yes parking might be a bit hard, but that shouldn't take away from the transcendent experience you are about to indulge...

the interior looks a bit runned down, they have bathrooms, parking could be hard, they have a food truck in Hoboken, you can find them in locals farmers markets, no, I did not get a stomach virus! I had to mention it, although The reviewers on Yelp and Google didn't seem legit, it still hurts business when reviews like that are being posted.

Pro bonus: the wild boar tacos was my second favorite after the lamburghini, so if you haven't had a chance to try "wild boar" I suppose it's...

I LOVE their treats!!! I only gave a 4 star because my friend had to get her order redone 3 times. (Probably someone new/having a bad day/ something like that) I will not hold it against them, but you really gotta know what you are doing when you are working in a fast paced establishment. The atmosphere set up by the restaurant itself is AWESOME but unfortunately, it seems whenever we go in there-and there are 5+ of us everytime-it NEVER FAILS that there happens to be groups (yes MULTIPLE) that are just obnoxious. It's the customers, not the employees/atmosphere/food/beverages-NONE OF THAT IS A FACTOR in any of the bad experiences we have had. It's the ridiculous kids they allow to disturb everyone else. We have only stayed to FINISH our treats 1 out of about 40 times. But it is the time of day that kids are getting out of school and it's understandable that they gotta let off steam. SO-its all understood and really nobody's fault but these kids' parents who surprise forgot to say "NO" to them every so often, so even if the staff tried their hardest to intervene with their RIDICULOUS behavior, they would've just pulled the "I'm entitled and I'm calling my insert adult name here card and raise hell. Sorry so long, I just wanted to let anyone who has a similar experience, IT IS NOT THE STAFF'S FAULT IN THE LEAST. Everything else is AMAZING and UNMATCHED!!
