The ONLY complaint I have about this place is it’s always busy— which is a good thing! The reason this bakery always has a line is because their cakes are to die for! I’m very picky about my cakes. I hate warm, dry, too sweet cakes. I usually just go for ice cream cakes for my birthday as you can never go wrong with ice cream! However, the cakes in this bakery changed my mind and now I only buy cakes from here. The sweetness is to perfection— not too sweet not too bland. The texture and moistness of their cake is what sells me along with the silky frosting! Personally, my favorite cakes are the House cake, chocolate chip cake, tres leches, and tiramisu! I haven’t tried them all yet but those are the best cakes I’ve ever had.
I bought my mom a chocolate chip cake yesterday and she loved it! Her friends loved it! Everyone complimented the cake and are planning to buy more haha. I’m currently eating my chocolate chip slice as I’m writing and it’s the only cake I’ve had that is good room temperature and also cold! Trust me, says a lot about a cake :)
Also, I cannot say more good things about their sandwiches. Personally, my favorite is their ham and cheese on a croissant. Such a simple sandwich, yet, they seem to have made their own version unique! Ham is sliced to thin perfection and they also toast it for you upon request! What sold me was the croissant itself. Croissant is glazed with sugar (?) which gives it a really good crispy texture melt with a flaky chewy inside!
If you’re looking to treat yourself but are looking for something that will make you feel not as guilty for satisfying your sweet tooth, I recommend their fruit tart which you can buy either large or tiny little ones :). Fruits are fresh and filling is not too sweet.
Lastly the prices for this place is really cheap which is also a plus! If you’re looking to customize a cake, I recommend calling a few days ahead as they don’t have all...
Read moreI really enjoy the food here. Unfortunately, I’ve only had negative experiences with the service. Today, I walked in and was ready to place my order once I got in line. When I was next in line (& there was no one waiting behind me) I approached the front desk, but the two workers in front of me seemed very busy handling other orders and I didn’t want to bother them. I noticed another worker on their way, but they completely ignored/walked right past me and proceeded to reorganize some of the display cakes/sweets. I also saw another worker chatting with another customer (who was not ordering) so I didn’t want to disturb her either since their conversation went on for several minutes. I felt sidelined & awkwardly waited for any of the workers to acknowledge me for 5 minutes straight. I was feeling embarrassed & due to social anxiety, I froze up as I saw other customers being served & fully engaging with the other workers I previously thought were just too busy to talk to me. Then, (after a full 5 minutes of just standing in front of the cashier’s desk) I was finally acknowledged by one of the workers & I informed them I was ready to order, but they simply just told me to go back to the end of the line in a certain tone that made me believe they were annoyed by me. I felt way too humiliated to inform them that I just came from the line 5 minutes ago & have been waiting right in front of them all that time, but I couldn’t get past how embarrassed I was. I felt totally ignored & probably an inconvenience to the workers, so instead I just said okay and immediately walked out of the store. I felt ashamed & deeply disappointed by the service. I was really looking forward to getting something to brighten my day here, but I walked out feeling so ignored & disrespected. The food is amazing & I love getting something here, but I’ve had no luck when visiting in person. I hope to have at least 1 positive experience...
Read moreDulce De Leche Bakery is one of my favorite spots! For my birthday, I picked up their 8” Dulce De Leche Chantilly cake, and it was absolutely incredible. The rich flavors in every bite were unforgettable, and the texture was just perfect—dense enough to be satisfying but still light and fluffy. It was honestly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.
Even though the bakery was busy when I visited, the staff was friendly and efficient, so I didn’t have to wait long. Their small pastries are just as amazing—everything I’ve tried has been mouthwateringly good.
I also decided to grab one of their salads, and while it was a little pricey, it didn’t disappoint. It was super fresh and packed with flavor. The mix of cherry tomatoes, walnuts, dried cranberries, crisp greens, tofu, and avocado was perfectly balanced, and the dressing added just the right amount of richness without overpowering anything.
Bonus: ♿️ Accessibility is no issue here as it’s located on the ground floor, making it easy for everyone to enter and exit the store.
Parking 🚖: Street parking is available, but it’s metered. Finding a spot can be a headache, especially on weekends.
Whether you’re looking for an indulgent treat or something lighter, Dulce De Leche Bakery has it all. The quality of their food and the welcoming atmosphere make it a place I’ll keep coming back to again and again!
