I am a loyal Subaru owner. I bought my first Subaru Forester in December 2005 at the former DiFeo Subaru in Jersey City, New Jersey. At that time I bought the car, knowing it was the number one safest car on the road. Mr. DiFeo closed my deal professionally, however my 2005 sales associate Ron’s selling experience was less than stellar. Nevertheless, in August 2023 I decided I would once again purchase, still the safest car on the road, a 2023 Subaru Forester. I called Hudson Subaru and was immediately greeted on the telephone by associate Jeffrey Ramirez. He was polite, concise and together we set up a mutually convenient appointment time for me to view his current inventory. As I was parking my car in the dealership lot I received a cell phone call from Mr. Ramirez, who was waiting for my arrival for our scheduled appointment. He then met me in the business office and introduced me to senior sales representative Jonathan Velez. The rest was historic. Mr. Velez, with the upmost transparency, closed my purchase deal in less than two hours. This included a 10 mile test drive in the vehicle I purchased. Needless to say, I came prepared and met no haggling from sales manager, Gustav Hernandez. It was like I was talking to a family member and best friend. The deal was closed. The car was insured , the title was completed, I received full instructions on the innumerable features of the car by Mr. Velez, the title was authorized, a full tank of gas was pumped into the tank and off I drove with my new Subaru in less than four hours. I will need to return in two weeks to pick up my permanent plates. It will feel like visiting my family. Hudson Subaru demonstrated the pinnacle of car salesmanship. They are well stocked. They are experts in their knowledge of the vehicles. They are loyal Subaru owners of the brand. Jonathan Velez is the most transparent car salesman I have ever met. If you are in the market for the safest cars on the road today, as they have been to my knowledge for the past 18 years that I have been driving a Subaru, do not hesitate to close your car deal with Hudson Subaru. Read moreI almost cried when the Manager of this eatablishment decided to be a God send this holiday season. Jersey City jas not been kind to be but today 12/17/2024 was different. I recieved patience, understanding and kindness from the staff Manuel and the Manager. I intend to advise my adult children to purchase from here as well. This purchase will make my job and life much easier and i appreciate the service here. On 12/23/2024 four days of having the car 3 dats driving...the car STOPPED RUNNING. i called and was given a loaner. Gary the gerenal manager was very NASTY AND RUDE after i expressed my rekuctance with taking the car back. Vety NASTY MAN...Against my better judgement i took the car back they said they changed the battery gave me a new one. On January 21, 2025 the car would not start again. So again i called the dealership, was given a loaner the next day. at that meeting i expressed then i did not want the car any longer due to it stopping/stalling twice in less than 30 days. I was told again the mechanics would.look at it and we would revisit a solutiin. Friday the 24th i was called to pick to up the Kia Sorento...told that the battery was replaced AGAIN as wrll as a starter. i expressed again that i do NOT WANT THE CAR BC THOSE THINGS WERE SAID TO BE FIXED THE 1ST TIME. I HAVE NOT PICJED UP.THE CAR OR RETURNED THE LOANER YET DUE TO MY STRESSFUL JOB. THE REASON I NEEDED A RELIABLE CSR. TODAY 1/31 I WAS SENT A TEXT THAT THE LOANER WILL BE REPORTED STOLEN. WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A GOD SEND IS ACTUALLY VULTURES AND SCAMMERS ....THUS DEALERSHIP IS AWFUL AND THE MANAGEMENT HAS POOR CUSTOMER SETVICE SKILLS. I WOULD FEEL SAFE SAYUNG THEY KNEW AND KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE AND REFUSE TO SHOW ME OTHER OPTIONS OR RETURN MY LOAN MONEY...DO NOT RECOMMEND I AM CURRENTLY SEEKING LEGAL...
