Absolutely blown away by this juice shop!

The moment I walked in, I felt amazing energy — peaceful, vibrant, and welcoming. Barry (I believe he’s the owner) is not only knowledgeable but clearly passionate about what he does. He walked me through every juice in the three-day cleanse I signed up for, offered generous samples, and even customized certain blends so they’d be more palatable for my taste. That level of personalization is rare.

As someone who’s been doing juice fasts for over seven years, I’ve tried it all — but I often skip bottles in other juice bundles because some of them are just too bitter or harsh. Not here. Barry was able to tweak juices with apple or lemon to make them drinkable without compromising the nutrients. And don’t get me started on the chlorophyll and sea moss blends — somehow he made chlorophyll taste good (a miracle!) and the sea moss drink literally reminded me of cinnamon applesauce. I ended up buying three bottles — and I never drink chlorophyll like that.

The berry smoothie with soursop? Life-changing. I’m not exaggerating. It had me literally rolling my eyes back — it’s that good. Smooth, fresh, flavorful, and energizing. My body felt instantly uplifted. As someone who listens to how my body responds to juices, I can tell you this one is magic. I’m already making plans to come back just for that smoothie.

Even the cashier was lovely and offered helpful tips. Barry also gifted me a morning turmeric-ginger shot for my fast — it just felt like he genuinely cared about my cleanse journey, not just about making a sale. He wants people to feel good, and it shows.

In LA we have magnificent fresh fruit and phenomenal smoothies everywhere. But we lost our home in the wildfires and I'm back in NJ and have not found a great smoothie... UNTIL NOW. Happened upon Juicy City today and it was wonderful! SUPER friendly people greeted us and immediately gave us shots of fresh ginger and a chaser. Be forewarned, the ginger is super healthy but good god it was a jolt. And spicy! I had the chaser, and the staff felt sorry for me and gave me samples of about 5 juices, all really excellent.
