A.M MANAGER TODAY DALEY, DAILY (Day)-Lee Found out her name after I wrote to corporate because a male employee provided it me as I left)
I came into McDonald's approximately around 7:30 a.m on 09/2.0/2023. I went to the cashier to place my order , not the touch screen. The woman who took my order is the A.M MOD (purple shirt/Manager). I spent 13.50 on the 2 for 6 and 2 hashbrowns. I have my own little thermos of water, I politely asked if I may have some ice cubes to throw in my thermos so I can enjoy my meal at the restaurant cold. She refused. I was shocked honestly but didn't retaliate in a rude manner like she did once I said "how can you give the gentleman before 3 extra syrups for free and charge me for a couple ice cubes?" She had gotten annoyed and said "1.07 or nothing". I like LITERALLY came here before yesterday recieved a mini water cup with ice for free" ??? Instead of going back and forth about a natural recourse I ask for a refund and handed her the bag politely . I have been in customer service for 13 yrs never did someone; let alone a "MANAGER" deny me or charge me for a water cup. I even did my research and it's says some McDonald's have stopped giving them out because they fill it up with soda/juice instead. But now being that the fountain is behind the register, you shouldn't have to worry. I'm also 4 months pregnant and I crave ice so I was so upset inside lol. BUT THEN I asked for her name , ignored me. Waiting a bit as I read over my receipt, I asked again politely/same tone while she went back and left the front unattended. Asked again. .. she said "NO MAM NO NAME, A.M MANAGER THATS IT" ... which she is allowed to do but for what ? Why cause all of this over a couple ice cubes a pregnant, consistant customer of this branch asked for ? Why? Why be mean to me? Please remind her what customer service means and how to treat customers . Managers are supposed to address the problem , solve the problem , and Apologize. Not create one. SHE RUINED MY WHOLE DAY AND MY FETUSES DAY! Im going to yelp and google review this as well.

Read moreI was trying to give the order in the drive thru and the person who was taking the order from me was kind of aggressive I told her just take it easy with me I'm ordering a lot of stuff and I want to make sure you got my order right, she kept rushing me, I asked for the supervisor to tell him about her reaction and that I need help, after he took the order and I paid the money I found that my order was missing items. When I asked about the missing items a lot of them plus the supervisor were talking at the same time saying that this is what I ordered and that I didn't pay for the missing items. I don't care about paying for it but now there are two kids that didn't get their drinks and meals because of them rushing my order and not taking care of it The supervisor said his name was: Lyndon And when I asked about the cashier name: to include in my complaint he said I'm not going to give you that Seriously what is wrong with these people, And by the way this is not the first time and it happened before that they talk to the customers in a really mean way. So disappointing no customer service and no good management, they really need someone to go to check on them in that location And by the way I swear I have work that I need to finish but I took this time to write this review here because it was really un acceptable Even my kid and my wife were so upset and disappointed from what...
Read moreOn 8/25 I came to this McDonald’s on communipaw in Jersey City around 10:20pm. The drive thru was very long so I parked and went inside the restaurant. No one was on the register during this time to take my order so I went to the kiosk where you can place your order yourself. However, it was only 1 kiosk out of the 4 that were working. When it was time to pay for my order the card machine to insert your method of payment went black.The employee EDWIN who I tried to explain the issue to and try to express to that I need further assistance was very very rude and very impolite when he address me and or my concern. I understand things were busy during this time but this employee approach to me was very rude. I proceeded to request to speak the manger who was on duty at this time of day who was able to better assist me. Not to mention she advise me that this employee had 3 complaints already on this day. Edwin began to even be rude to his manger while on during in front of customers while she was talking to me and trying to resolve my issue. EDWIN customer service was terrible, the way he spoke to his manger was not professional, the way he treated me(the customer) was awful.
