Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Jersey City

Had high hopes for this new pizzaria as it had many good reviews. Ordered a custom pizza with chicken,mushroom and jalapeños. I called and asked if the jalapeños were fresh and not pickled they said it was fresh turns out it was pickled. The chicken is not chicken its low grade imitation chicken, basically tasted like dollar tree nuggets. The cheese was sythetic and barley melted. The sauce was ok but still basic. The dough was comparable to a $1 pizza you would get in 7/11 it was very very chewy and doughy literally drys your mouth out. I asked for crispy and it was nearly soggy. Their parmasean was in little packets and Looked just like garlic powder. For nearly $30 pizza As I got family size this was absolutely horrible. Never will come here again I should have went to singhas as I know their pizza uses real and fresh ingredients

Update: Message to owner Sorry but there wont be a next time! From what I have gathered you are about making money from customers and do not plan to improve! You are about low cost and high profit! If you had any slightest plan to improve you would have done so by now from all these other negative reviews. So Dont come telling me you will improve! Besides there are many pizzarias in the neighborhood that is higher quality and better prices! Even dominos does better and actually has better ingredients compared to the joke of a place you call...

Tried to give this business a chance as it looked interesting. I placed my order online and surprising the order pick up time was less than 9 min. When I arrived they informed me they made a mistake on my order which still baffles me on how can a business mess up the type of crust which I clearly mentioned online. They said it would take 10 min to remake all three pies which was a lie. I stood around for more than 30 min kept asking the employee on the status and kept saying just another 5 min. I was growing extremely impatient and frustrated and at this point asked if I can get some kind of discount for all this mishap. The employee stated he can’t offer anything since they just opened and trust his judgment the wait will be worth it. If a business is trying to build its reputation you would think it will do all it can to honor its mistakes and offer something. Even with all the mistake I would think the taste of the pizza would make up for it. The pizza itself was also horrible, all the sauce was in the middle and all the pies tasted exactly the same. I was surprised this place received 10, 5 out of 5 reviews seems like all the employees posted the reviews. Do yourself a favor and save your money and don’t come to this place. I would be surprised if this place last more than 3 months in business. Complete fail...
