Ciechanowski George J MD — Local services in Jersey City

I went to this Doctor!!! about a year ago to have my annual checkup. I called and gave my insurance to make sure that they take my insurance. it was very simple and supposed to be 10 minutes long. I had my annual checkup and left the place. I got a bill from this office saying that they were charging me for OFFICE CONSULTAION instead of my annual, which will cost me $340 out of my pocket where my annual checkup should be free ($0) Then I called the office saying that they are billing me wrong. After they apologize, they changed it to OFFICE/OUTPATIENT VISIT which cost me $365. After that I called them again, talk to them about that's being wrong. They said that this is the correct code and I have to pay the amount. I have been talking to them since May 12, 2021. They were very unprofessional and telling me to not to call and pay that amount, not to bother them anymore. I just don't know what to do anymore and I guess pay that bill that Is not mine. I hope they change their attitude towards their costumers and won't get horrible reviews. Even though Dr. Ciechanowski George J MD was nice I won't be going to the office anymore, and I won't recommend anyone to go through that process. I wish i could of give them 0 star. Please stay away...

Dr. Ciechanowski has been my pulmonologist for 30 years. I have many friends with asthma and they rarely if ever get the good expert care that I do. Dr. Ciechanowski is a lung EXPERT and follows the research on many many related and other health topics. He loves his job and reflects expert care always. I bring my issues from other doctors to him. He shares helpful insights. He is AWAYS supportive. He knows a lot and reflects his knowledge with expertise and care. I have had office staff issues with SO MANY of my other doctors. Complaints about office staff everywhere are so common. I have none about this office. You have to look out for yourself and try to get a doctor whose advice you can trust. Otherwise, YOUR health...

Hard to explain his seeing me without an appt or being his patient ( there for urgent care ) and was sent to him , as their was no dr there . He was kind , professional with his questions, giving me insight as to what part of my body was effected , but how he was going to see just what was causing it.
