Very disappointed this visit. We usually love this place and their delicious food! This most recent visit on Friday, Jan 29th, we were extremely let down. We ordered their 3 pound crawfish special, and we ordered it to go. When we got the food home we were extremely upset and disappointed in the quality. The items had obviously been sitting for a while because the corn on the cobs were dried out, the potatoes that were in the bag were all mush, and the usually very well flavored crawfish had no flavor at all. Some of them were even rubbery as well. I called the restaurant to let the manager know what happened and he told me because I ate the food there was nothing he could do. I don’t live close to the restaurant, so it wasn’t like I could just return immediately to switch the food out and I did not want to waste the food seeing as I couldn’t afford to just throw it away. He told me he was extremely busy that evening and could not talk to me and provides me his cell phone to speak further with him. He asked me to message him what had happened and my receipt. After I sent a few messages, I never received a response from him. I felt ignored and he just gave me the number to shut me up. Even better, my spouse and I got food poisoning and were sick that night and the following days after. Still four days later we have not heard anything and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. We have gone to this restaurant multiple times and dropped $100 each time between getting crab legs, shrimp and crawfish. Reached out on a Monday and didn’t receive a response..

Today is Thursday, 2/11 and I have reached out again. If I receive a response I will update accordingly. Still waiting on that call. I was told the manager would think of a way to make it right, but haven’t heard back since to take...

This restaurant on FM 1960 in Houston Tx. Is a disaster . Reservations was made at 2 pm for a dinner date at 7 pm . Our first date was the worst date eating here . I called to confirm my reservation via phone call , I received a confirmation email for my reservations. Yet upon arriving the host whom is not very truthful and honest person . Told me I didn’t have a reservation and that they don’t do reservations for two and that I had to get on the waiting list . She also informed me it was a 45 minute wait . After 40 minutes passed I went back to the host to check the status of our table . To find the host had moved us down the waiting list . I asked how much long ? The host stated four more was ahead of me and it would be 30 minutes more . She asked for my phone number and said she would call when the table was ready ( she did not ) 30 minutes passed I went to the host again inquiring how much longer . She said I called no answer so she moved us further down the list (?) my phone was in my hand she never called my phone nor did she call my name . All the other folks that signed in after me was seated and almost finished eating . How could we arrive at 7pm and be seated at 9:15pm 🤷‍♀️. I politely inquired answers to my problem to the manager whom I showed him my screen shot of my reservation , my calling his establishment from my call log and confirmation email to basically be told nothing and it appeared as he was siding with his host on the 2 hour mistreatment that I received . Spending the amount of money I did to be treated very rude and raw . Both the manager and the host need retraining . I live in sugar land and drove over to this place for a date to this place and WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN . It is to many seafood restaurants available to put up...

Edit again: it's been over a year or more since I've visited this location. I honestly don't understand how they stay open. From the other reviews about the poor service, to the poor quality food. I decided to give them another shot tonight. They failed miserably. I walked in, they were moderately busy but not slammed by any means. Waitresses on their phones staring out the doors etc. I was seated as soon as I walked in and that's where things went downhill rather quickly. I sat there and sat there after 2 waitresses brought food to other tables around me, not so much as a hi, how are you or any acknowledgement from either of them. I sat there another 5 or so minutes and still nothing. So I got up, went to the front area and told them why I was leaving. They were more worried about where I sat. This from the same person who had taken me to the table. It is ridiculous, the food and service used to be the best around when they first opened. I will not be returning to this location in Jersey Village. There are too many other places that serve you and want your money. I would suggest finding elsewhere to eat.

Edit: This was my first time back in 5 or 6 months. The service has improved, but the food is still average at best. The music is so loud you can't hold a conversation. If a song comes on that you actually like, someone will skip it and start playing Tejano music so loud you can see the drink in your glass move. They won't be getting another visit from me for a while.

Food has been hit or miss lately. We eat there about once a week or so. Will space it out a little more and visit other boil houses. Can't blame bad food on Covid. Something has...

Update 2022: Since my Initial review things at this establishment has fell off dramatically. Customer service and food both have fell from a 5 star to a 3 star rating. They use to be my go to in the area but now it’s an latter option. Seems it’s suffering the same problems other service businesses are having with lack of employees or quality employees with quality service and training. Going here is hit and miss hopefully when you go you’ll hit and miss having a bad experience. 2021: Let me start by saying the establishment is very Covid-19 conscious providing a very safe experience. Upon entering they take your temperature and ensure your seating area is clean. They also ensure guest are distance from each other effectively. Myself and friend decided to sit at the bar and wow Rebecca was absolutely great! Ask for her service and tip her well because she is the perfect host and bartender. She is very knowledgeable about the menu and she makes very good drinks. As for the food everything was cooked perfectly. We had a mixed shrimp and catfish basket, shrimp and oysters basket, and two Crab boils with potatoes and corn. The cost is far from expensive for what you get in food and service. If you're in the area or on the fence about going to eat don't be! Leave now and enjoy a wonderful experience. Oh and don't forget to ask for Rebecca because she will definitely make your experience a great one.

The fact that they had a full-size hummer H3 decorated with fake fishing nets and plastic seafood when you first walk in should say a lot about the restaurant. The crab that I ordered had obviously been cooked several times because it wouldn’t crack, instead it folded like cardboard. When I asked for hot sauce they offered me Sriracha which is definitely not Cajun. The few questions we had for our server were answered with, “I really don’t know.” The Cajun boom spice was a little sweet and not spicy. The kids meal I ordered for my son was supposed to come with a drink but instead they charged me four extra dollars for a Shirley Temple. The women’s restroom had a hand dryer mounted on the wall with its cord zip tied to it and plugged into the outlet next to it which is obviously a safety issue but hey I don’t own a restaurant so I guess who am I to judge? There was a digital jukebox mounted to the wall by the front bar that played nothing but country music the entire time which was a huge downer seeing as how we were in a seafood restaurant that was supposed to cater to Cajun style. The bottom line was the service was mediocre and the food wasn’t good - definitely not worth the price. It is my opinion that they spent more time trying to decorate than paying attention to their menu or at the very least making sure it was cooked properly. I definitely won’t be back.
