Recently started going back to Freddy's because it seemed that they were getting better at customer service, orders were coming out correct and charged fairly for the last couple of months. That all ended tonight.. we ordered 2 scoops one vanilla, one chocolate. We were charged for a chocolate scoop and vanilla sundae. The "sundae" was just a scoop of ice-cream. I was willing to forgive the upcharge of $1.30 if they could explain what was missing in the vanilla that would justify the cost difference and get that added on. The staff refused again and again claiming, "there is no difference, you should have told us a topping". I explained that cannot be possible because I am being up charged for something. They refused to acknowledge any mistake to fix or apply partial refund. I was getting nowhere as 2 men were being patronizing. I felt it was better to let them rip me off tonight than further engage as they refused to acknowledge that you can't just charge $1.30 more for nothing.
I had to change my 5 star rating because of several experiences recently. The two that stand out are when they kept my husband's debit card, used it to pay for someone else's meal and it took multiple calls and visits to finally get them to give the money and the card back. No offers for anything on the house, no follow up from the manager. Instead to weasel out of having to ask someone to get our refund the girl at the cashier said, "well it wasn't that much money". Stealing is stealing even if its less than $20. We waited awhile to come back at night on a Sunday as we knew what customer service we might experience but we were out running errands and decided to treat ourselves to a couple of dishes of frozen custard. We waited in line for an absurd amount of time based on only having 2 cars ahead, and when we got to the register the same girl was there, and she handed us two melted custards. We told her they melted, she said "sorry, we had to take them out cuz it was full." She did not even offer to replace them! My husband just didn't want to deal with her making us wait any longer so we left. I wish the experience had been better since this place is so close to home but it's just not worth losing our money anymore. ...
I'm from the Midwest so I'm very picky about frozen custard, and their hot fudge sundae always...

If I could legally marry Freddyâs fry sauce, I would. Seriously, I donât know what kind of magical potion they put in that stuff, but it has RUINED all other condiments for me. Ketchup? Mustard? Please. Childâs play. Freddyâs fry sauce is the elixir of life, and I would drink it with a straw if society didnât frown upon such things.
The food? Absolute perfection. Every time I roll up to Freddyâs, I know Iâm in for a meal that will make me question why I ever eat anywhere else. The burgers are smash-grilled to crispy-edged perfection, the fries are golden, crispy, and designed for maximum fry sauce absorption, and donât even get me started on the cheese curds. Iâve had religious experiences less powerful than biting into those.
And the custard? Oh. My. Goodness. The custard is so smooth, so rich, so creamy that Iâm convinced they have a team of dessert wizards churning it out in the back. But the real showstopper? THAT ORANGE FROSTY. I took one sip and was instantly transported back to my childhood summers, slurping on an orange dreamsicle while riding my bike with skinned knees and no responsibilities. Itâs nostalgia in a cup, and I will be consuming it until the end of time.
But letâs talk about the real MVPs here: the staff. These folks are on it. My order is always right, always fresh, and always handed to me with a smile and the kind of speed that makes me question whether they have a time machine in the kitchen. I once pulled up to the drive-thru, blinked, and my food was already in my hands. Wizards, I tell you.
Freddyâs, you own my heart, my stomach, and approximately 80% of my daily calorie intake....

Very few customers at this time and was probably during shift change because i counted 13 employees at one point with maybe 5 actually working. When i got to counter employee just stared at me i had to ask him are you ready he said Yeah!! No greeting or anything guess he was upset i took him away from looking at his phone. After waiting a good 10 minutes or more wife and i got our food & meat was still pink and fries were soooo salty! To booths down was 4 employees talking, eating and playing around! One had the drive thru headset on and would get up go to register put in order and then go back to his food! I wanted to leave but wife insisted we get something for our kids. So went back to counter where 3 employees were just laughing and talking and having a good ole time while im just standing there finally someone so can i help you!!!! Ordered Turtle Sunday for my wife and Tenders with no salt for kids, She asked for here or to go i said food to go and would like sundae now. When order was ready was still waiting for Sundae??? Told girl i needed my Sundae she walked over to drive thru window and got a Sundae that i saw was sitting there for a while!!! She said it was ready but someone put on drive thru counter. I told her this is melted and i do not want it. She turned around thru it in trash and said she would make another one but with a attitude. There needs to be some kind of adult Supervision and manager at all times not just these kids running the Restaurants...
