Little Meadow Kitchen & Cocktails — Restaurant in Jersey Village

The best kept secret in Jersey Village. After seeing a bunch of awesome reviews, I was skeptical but curious. We went on a slow Thursday afternoon for an early dinner since we got off work early.

This place has amazing food. Jasmine runs the kitchen and hands-down it’s the best food program in the area.

“On a golf course?” you might be asking…. But yeah. We had the tastiest sliders I’ve ever paid for, chicken tacos that were dripping with deliciousness, and a salmon special that was out of this world.

The drink menu was great, too, but secondary to the food. The happy hour specials were a good value. High quality selection of beer and spirits. I can’t speak for the wine since I don’t know wine very well, but I’m sure it’s consistent with everything else.

Service was great, too. Even when they got busier during the dinner rush, there was always someone stopping by the table every 5 minutes to top off drinks and clear plates.

There is never anything on those carts. Then when we go into the restaurant, they don’t want anything to do with making money, they send us to the snack bar. Which half the time the snack bar doesn’t have what we are asking for or doesn’t know how to make something. There is always something they are out of. The staff looks like the crawled out of bed and came to work. The manager was in sweat pants the other day. She introduced herself and the first impression was she was hungover and hated her job. The beer on tap doesn’t come out right, so I switched to cans. The poor girl couldn’t pour it right because it was all foam. Spilling everywhere. All you hear, is complaints from the staff talking about issues that are going on inside of this place, like no one is listening. The food is good but it’s a very negative vibe. The staff needs to step it up...

My friends and I come to play the virtual golf here pretty often. The first couple of times I did not order any food because I thought how good could a virtual golf place possibly be. Man was I wrong. This place is so freaking good!!

And it’s not just a couple of things literally every single thing we have ordered has been delicious. Not only is it delicious some of the menu items are so unexpected! From the burgers, pastas, ceviche, and FISH WRAPPED CRAB CAKE.

My personal favorite is the chicken strips and mashed potatoes. I shit you not, some of the most massive chicken strips I have ever seen! I have eaten chicken strips from all the most popular fast food chains we all know. These take the cake no question.
