I guess this place is getting cut in half or losing real estate or something. I understand this establishment is going under construction and is going to be named Pho Bi under the owner. Came in here for some soup and boba.
My son had the Pho and I had that Bun Bo Hue. I guess he was hungry because there was not a drop left in the bowl but let me tell you something about my soup, these people do not play! That thing was on fire! Spiciness level was above more than what you would get any place around Houston very flavorful and the way that I like it. The Vietnamese iced coffee was just as good as any other..
I guess it was the owner that walked by smiled and waved hello as she walked from the outside to the kitchen which gave a good vibe however the cashier I guess you could call her that really gave me a negative vibe one of those like teenagers that would rather be 100 other places than here trying to help her boss at work? Anyways besides that interior had nice furniture as you can see there are two chairs painted silver outlined something that would make you feel like a king or queen if you sat in it. They were a little bit stingy with the air conditioning but at least it was a hot. Definitely would come here again because of...
Read moreWell after reading the great reviews I was very excited to go. Right when I walked in the store I noticed the man working in the front was not wearing a mask, he was handeling our drinks without gloves. His service in the front was actuall garbage. I usually don’t leave reviews but I literally felt bad for wasting my money and time there. We bought 6 drinks and I kid you not we waited almost an hour to receive our drinks. The time would not have been such an issue if the service was good. After I get my drinks I get ready to leave and realize they labeled none of my drinks. And some of my drinks were not even full. I purchased 6 different drinks so I went back to see if they could tell me the difference and the guy seemed very annoyed. He stormed to the back when I only wanted my drinks to be labeled. If you do not like to interact with people I suggest you not work in jobs which involve customer service. I work in a restraunt myself so I know all there is to know. The taste of the drinks was ok nothing special. You can find much better boba in this area with better flavor and prices. The lady working was the only good part of our visit. I definitely will not be...
Read moreHands down best bbh I’ve had in the Houston area and I’m somewhat of a brat when it comes to Vietnamese soups. I came here alone and took a chance on the bun Bo hue in what looked like a boba shop. They only had 2 food items on the menu, which I took as a good sign. GUYS let me tell you the broth was rich, flavorful, just the right amount of spice, and most importantly it tasted homemade AUTHENTIC. The bowl also somehow stayed hot throughout the whole meal. I was SHOCKED!! Loved it so much that I thought about it for days and took the rest of my family there a few days later. Our family ate in near silence because it was that good.. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner who shared with us his passion for cooking. 50 lbs of bone for 50 servings of broth. Now that’s quality! I wish this business all the success ahead. It’s not often you come across a small business that can put taste and quality over everything else. Do yourself a flavor and give...
