This post is purely for the owner/manager so it can be known how this establishment is run and the way customers are treated. : Inquired with staff at register about name being down for compenstation on order due to last visit at this establishment my order being made was wrong (order included a big kahuna chicken: requested with no pepers or jalapeños and add bacon. Served with peppers and jalapeños cooked in and no bacon.). As I had called and advised of the error that day I was told a sandwich would be free on my next order and left it be. Though it has been some time since that last visit I still expected the word of the manager to be kept, however I was advised that due to a new policy, corrections or compenstations are now only fulfilled if completed within 7 days. Instead I was given a 10% discount for the current transaction and a coupon that I was advised could be used on next purchase. I accepted and paid without fuss. Of course I would realise later when reviewing the card that it expired the day before it was given to me. To add to the expirence, when getting home I discovered again my order was lacking, having ordered a club sub this time and the bacon again not on the sandwich. When calling the business to advise the staff, though polite in tone, the employee advises me he made the sandwich himself and knows he put the bacon on the sandwich. After inquiring if it was necessary to bring the order back the employee replies, "do you want the bacon?". The employee goes on to advise he would go review the camera footage as proof the order was made correctly. I advised if I brought the incorrect order back I would want a full refund at this point and encouraged the employee to check the cameras. -- It's just a shame that this is the manner all of this was handled; there being no consideration that the customer did not receive what had been requested and paid for, yet had still paid the business, left the employees over a 25% cash tip, kept a pleasant attitude and was polite during the notification of the errors as well as during the business' choice of methods to address the business'...
Read moreCustomer service isn't really practiced here! Several issues to cover. Noticed that no employee looked happy or smiled at anyone the entire dining in experience, not even the manager. After taking the order the incomplete sandwich was left sitting on the counter for me to stare at while 4 others after mine got completed. I wasn't told what was going on. I assumed online orders were being made but pissed that nothing was said. Several minutes later the manager grabs mine and finishes putting lettuce and oil on mine. Why couldn't it have been done from start to finish without making me wait? Next issue is price. It wouldn't feel as bad paying $17 for a sandwich if the customer service was actually provided. Did you know they up charge $3.45 if you get gluten free bread? With the most expensive sandwich at $16.95 that brings the cost to over $20 FOR A SANDWICH! Baldino's has better sandwiches for less money and they trained there people to say hi and smile when dealing with customers! Who would have thought. I won't come back to this store. I'm probably not going back to this franchise with the cost of their sandwiches now. This experience has reminded me that there are too many options out there to have to deal with poor customer service and skyrocketing prices. I'll support the business that treat their customers with...
Read moreJust had the American Classic. It was the best darn sub I've had since leaving Buffalo NY seven years ago. No other subs come close to the freshness and quality of a Mikes sub !! *That was 4 years ago. My how things have changed since! My hubby and I have just gotten our last subs from this place. We were disappointed with our last subs, but decided to give them another try anyway. I ordered my usual American Classic with double meat and triple the onions. I didn't get either, again !! The 'double' meat looked as if it was just folded an extra time since it only was in the very center and not covering the whole roll. Triple onions?! Where? On someone else's sub maybe, not mine! We spent $45 for two subs and again didn't get what we paid for. I could get the same sub at a gas station and pay half the price. It pains me to have to say all this since my favorable review after my first visit here, but it is what it is. SO disappointed....
