Haphazard in nature. Functions at will with no updates on website about closure or opening. Folks behind the phone don’t understand English. Food served most of the times contains excessive salt and spice. Most importantly, there is no central air conditioning. I have personal visited this place many times trusting the website time and sometimes I find a pleasant elderly lady who had personally told me ‘Chandu is busy with catering today and no in place dine in today’. This was around the start of summer. Been there many times trusting website timings. Southern Guntur style of cooking with high salt and spice with next day morning side affects. Hence my review. Apart from that I understand that Ganesh temple is the main attraction there (which is well air conditioned) by the way and this business could be a hobby with severe understaffed head count.

Reply to owner: I have had Lemon rice, idli vada for $7 each and also tasted the thali ($12) at your place. So you blind rage and anger about a low review shows your character. The whole world can see the amount of divinity in you , how much you value the concept of ‘Athithi Devo Bhava’. Speaking the truth is not hate speech. Not one to write a review unless I rate something in the 4.99 star range, I finally found the caterer who qualifies for a pat on the back. In fact, I feel it would be an injustice if I don't leave a review here. On a friend's reference, I ordered lunch at Omkar Foods for my party, but with great trepidation about the quality as it is getting increasingly difficult to get good food, especially authentic South Indian vegetarian fare in the metro Atlanta area. But after being served by this caterer, I have to say that my experience was nothing less than phenomenal...right from promptness of promised delivery time to requested spiciness to authentic andhra cuisine to pricing it was 5++ out of 5 stars. First things first: I love the empathetic service oriented and homely feeling created by the elderly woman - it was like visiting your home back in India in Atlanta for me.

When I presented my dietary restrictions she understood them perfectly and delivered the food (a thali) meeting my needs. She even asked me to come regularly there if my dietary needs are not met else where. I appreciate this behavior of understanding customer needs. She was not trying to exploit the situation as she was ready to lower the price a bit.

The place is next to Ganesh Temple. Entrance sign may say Jai Hind. Mostly home made items are offered with same home made taste and atmosphere. Recommend if you are looking for such simple experience without any expectations. Food is tasty and quantities are enough. Side dishes need little...
