Of all the Chick fil A's in the Tricity area this one stands out because the others are so exceptional and this one is so unacceptable. Workers are blunt, curt responses not once, twice, but multiple times with various workers. However, there are a few there that are excellent, it isn't the overall experience. So travel down or up the road to the next Chick fil A. It'll be worth the extra few miles.
Addition to my review...response to the owners comment below. I did reach out to the email provided there. Not that I wanted anything other than to discuss the various situations that over a period of times i encountered there. No one ever responded to the email.
To the owner: I've noted your reply of just my name "Kim" nothing more came across and I no longer can see your original response with the request that I email you and give you the opportunity to make things right. Too often responses are made that look to the public as if something was being done but isn't. Chick-fil-A is a part of our lives and we frequent a CFA at least weekly. I am not wanting coupons, free food items, or anything of monetary value. I wanted to discuss things with you in hopes that I could give a different review in the future. However, at this point I have not been back to this location since. If you wish to address this and still have the original email I sent you then reply or reply here and I will contact you. I'm a fair person and will give a...

Well, today I learned Chick-fil-A's "my pleasure" policy doesn’t apply when management gets involved. I ordered a regular chicken sandwich but was served a spicy one instead. Mistakes happen, right? So, I politely returned to the drive-thru to request the correct sandwich.
Enter The Manager. He swoops in already irritated with life, takes my sandwich with an air of annoyance so thick you could spread it on bread, and heads back inside. Moments later, he returns with my half-eaten spicy sandwich (weird, right?) and my replacement sandwich. Instead of simply apologizing and moving on, he insists the spicy sandwich wasn’t spicy—because apparently, I can’t tell the difference between mild and "mouth-on-fire."
But wait, there’s more! He didn’t stop at denying my taste buds; he turned the whole ordeal into a live show for his staff, complete with condescension and patronizing tone. Bravo, sir. You've truly mastered the art of customer disservice. I had to ask myself, am I at Chick Fil A or McDonalds?
To the general manager: perhaps a refresher course in customer relations is in order. A bit of humility goes a long way, especially when you're handling someone’s lunch and dignity at the same time. I hope the teenagers watching on from the door...
Read moreWhen God created chickens at the dawn of the universe, he did it with us in mind... He knew that the 21st century society would be at an emotional low point, with the daily negative headlines growing longer and the divide between fellow humans growing wider. He knew we would need a beacon of hope, a sort of lighthouse in the dark, a place we could turn to in times of confusion. So, He gave us Chick-fil-A. Every time I walk into this incredible edifice, time seems to slow. All my negative thoughts and mountains of stress that have accumulated during the day vanish in a cloud of dreamy smells and friendly smiles. I order a Spicy Chicken Deluxe and a diet Lemonade with Chick-fil-A and Honey Mustard sauce, and after returning the warm "my pleasure", I sit down to eat. Before I start, though, I take a minute to thank the Lord for blessing our lives so abundantly. This is not just Chicken, this is...
