Dippin' Dots — Restaurant in Johnson City

It's a small city East Tennessee mall; don't expect much and you'll be satisfied. It's pricey and doesn't have a great selection, and is too often letting something good leave. Some stores are too large (excessive) while some are too small (would be nice to have more selection in small stores/space robbed by some big stores). Some stores are very dated and due for remodel (e.g. Sears, Belk, Belk). Food selection is poor and minimal quality; over-priced as well. Parking is usually fair since it's not usually crowded. Shopper's flock to it at black-Friday/Thursday (Thanksgiving) and what is call "The Magical Night of Giving" for supposed deals, but the "deals" don't seem to be deals as much as pushy ads, gimmicks, and reducing previously inflated prices. Great place to shop they have nearly anything you're looking for, except music or nice plus size clothing, they have store like hot topic, journeys, and Spencers sometimes they'll have CDs from popular artists near the checkout counter. Plus size clothing department is nearly non existent and looks like something my 65 year old father wears, that department is stuck in another decade. Great food court. You have petros, o'charleys grilled subs, chick'fila, Pals, and Japanese/Chinese food. The food court is pretty big you can usually find somewhere to sit. except on Friday afternoons when school lets out, the place fills with teenagers and half of them with there parents so it can get pretty crowded through out the mall. Dippin' Dots has the same address as The Mall at Johnson City so I'm always asked about my visit to Dippin' Dots and honestly I can say that I haven't had any in over 5 yrs from here. The reason for my visit are the other stores in the Mall of Johnson City that I love and adore. Especially certain ones such as VS, VS PINK, Champs, AEO, Aerie, Sears because of SYW Points, but disappointed that some of the greatest stores such as Foot Locker, Finish Line, and so many of my favorite shops are gone and now have to go to Asheville Mall, West Towne Mall in Knoxville, etc. Needless to say that The Mall at Johnson City has lost a lot of sales with people going to other Malls that provide the places that are...
