I actually went to take back a diamond necklace and ear ring set that 647.00 and had decided I wanted to trade it for a ring and some ear rings! The sells lady Lori was very rude to me, she acted like I stole something,I ask if I could get the remaining balance on a gift card because didn't have the card on me that I'd used the night before.I had just returned some lipstick in beauty department,same scenario and the lady that helped me was glad to put that on a gift card for me. So, Lori obviously lied to me. And jcpenny lost a big sale!!!! Because what I wanted to trade the ear ring and necklace for was gonna equal the value of what I had originally got!!!I I still can not understand why she would not exchanged my stuff she gave us a refund but I will NEVER buy from jcpenny again. I hate that so much because I always buy my jewelry from there. She is NOT a good people person at all, I don't like to think of somebody not having a job especially now with I flation but co.w on, the lady that originally sold me the set,now she can sell some jewelry!!!!! Got a wedding band at JCP fine jewelry. One of the stones turned yellow. I brought it back to Penney’s and the woman at the counter, while “scouring” the ring with her eye piece, asked if I may have done something to the ring!!! I also purchased the $70 protection fee which was no help at all! I wanted a new ring. I was required to credit my charge card, with a 24 to 48 hour wait for credit to be realized. Then I was recharged on my card while the woman ordered a replacement online! I had to stand there and give all of my information to her to order the ring online! I could have done that at home! I cannot believe this lengthy process and that I was recharged instead of Penneys replacing my damaged ring! Retail customer service going down the drain! No wonder JCP is struggling. I would not buy a ring at...

The store is organized and well kept. I really like their products, good quality.

The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I felt unsafe in the fitting rooms. The fitting rooms are unisex, which wouldn't be a problem IF the fitting rooms had a full door. There are big gaps at top and bottom. I had my husband stand guard at my door. My husband is 5'11 and he was able to see into my fitting room. So any man over 6 foot could easily see any woman getting dressed while walking by because the mirrors are parallel with the fitting room door, the reflection gives a full view of the person changing. It's just really upsetting to feel this way and have, what used to be, a convenience taken away from me to maintain my privacy...
