Spirit Halloween — Local services in Johnson City

We came in to purchase decorations and costumes for a large event we do every year. This year we brought a kitten who is in training to be a support animal. He is small, well behaved and wears a harness with his tag that states he is a support animal. You'd never notice him if it wasn't for the fact he is bright orange and small and cute. My fiance' was told to leave the store by an employee after we were there about 10 minutes into shopping. They stated they had a pet policy and I was chased down by another employee as I walked out behind him and our medical support animal stating they misunderstood, but the damage was already done. It is illegal to not allow support animals with their owners and refuse them service, except for in public open food establishments such as restaurants or grocery stores and we've not had problems with him being with us, yet a Halloween shop says no? We will not be back. If you cannot understand and support someone who has a support animal being socialized to handle medical situations shopping with them, then we will not support your business by purchasing from you. Halloween Express adores our training animals and welcomes them, we will go there...

Went to purchase 1 item before they closed. Made sure I looked up the times before making the trip up there. When I arrive there, I’m stopped by an employee that rudely puts her hand up and says they are closed. I told her the website said they were open. I just needed 1 item and even told her what it was. She went and grabbed another lady. She approached me with multiple staff behind her. And very rudely denied me coming in. I asked why the website says a different time and she continued to be extremely rude. There were other customers inside shopping at the time of me standing at the door trying to come In. And the employees? They were all huddled around the counter on their phones. I’ve purchased a lot from this place but...

Bad experience due to returning an item I purchased at the Kingsport store, same management and same merchandise, I was told to go back where I purchased it, my response was I can work here, you have the same purse for the same price, same district manager Tera..she immediately changed her answer and proceeded with the return....rude staff, no customer service what so ever..... people don't quit good jobs, it's bad management and training.....I am definitely a better customer vs employee...be careful if you go to work for these people they are not what they...
