I used to LOVE this place. Their food was very good, generally delivered hot and fresh, with kind drivers. The last few times I've ordered delivery, they've forgotten little items, a side of rice, an egg roll, no big deal, but frustrating. Last week I ordered an egg foo young with white rice, when it arrived I had no rice. As eating it without the rice is basically an omelet, I called and asked for my white rice to be delivered. I was told they "weren't going to send a delivery driver to my house for free" and I'd have to wait for an order coming my way to get my rice. I was pretty upset, by the time the hour I was told I'd have to wait went by, the food would be cold at best. Told the person on the phone I wouldn't be ordering from them anymore and received a hearty "Ok then!" I went to the store to get my white rice, complained to anyone that would listen, then walked out with my white rice. I ordered $35 to $75 worth of food a week and ALWAYS tipped my driver at least $10 to $15 bucks per delivery. They've lost my business and I wouldn't advise anyone to use them, not for lack of quality, but for a lackadaisical attitude towards accuracy and customer service.
Addendum, I'm kind of glad this happened. Ordered Oriental Express and...
Read moreLet me start off by saying that my family has been eating at Dragon City since we moved here almost ten years ago but the quality of the food and the service has been quickly deteororating over the past couple of years. I've refrained from complaining since I've always stayed true to them, but after tonight's experience I won't be eating here again. First and foremost, it took an hour and a half for us to get our food (we only live about 10 minutes away by the way) and on top of that once we got the food it was very bland, tasteless, and generally not good. The driver wasn't very polite when he finally delivered the food and we finally cracked and called to complain. They said they would remake it (but we'd have to drive up there and get it, otherwise it would take another hour) or give us a discount, which turned out to be a mere 20% off out next order. I won't be eating here again as this isn't the first time this has happened by a long shot. In short I don't recommend them by any means; they're slow, not very polite, the food is bland, and it's all generally...
Read moreThis was one my and my children's favorite place to eat. We even overlooked the rude attitudes of the workers, but today was my last day to ever eat at Dragon City on Main St. I ordered Chow Mein and what they brought looked nothing like the Chow Mein I have eaten in the past. When I pulled up a pic of what I thouht I was ordering I was told "we don't make ours like that". So I asked can I please order something else, and I was told "if you want to pay for it". I have never been treated so rude. Most places will apologize and even offer to fix it, but not here. I had to throw my lunch away, because no one would touch it...yeah, it was that gross! All I want to express is the foundation of a great business is how you treat your customers, and by the looks of today's action, I am not sure how they have stayed in business as long as they have. If I could go back, I would like to ask them...was that $5.00 meal more important than keeping a loyal customer? Honestly, it is the principle here....I sure am going to...
