Excellent food and plenty of options for everyone! We ordered the lemongrass pork noodle bowl (bun), Thai tea, tofu banh mi, and the yam fries (that aioli is great) and everything was amazing! The employees are wonderful and efficient; food was ready quite quickly. If you order from the vegan section or are vegan/vegetarian you may want to tell them so they don’t bring you a meat-based broth. The waiter very consciously asked the table while we were there.
We are so excited to finally have Vietnamese food in town again and will definitely be back sooner than later to try more of the menu!
Feb 2025 update Went back and had the roasted chicken pho and it was probably the best I've ever had. The broth doesn't have the heavy anise flavor and the chicken was fall-off-the-bone perfect. The only thing is we had to ask for more toppings because we like a lot of green added, which they were perfectly fine with. They also added dishes of pickled garlic to the tables so make sure to add that in your food for even...
Read moreExcited we got a new Vietnamese restaurant in town with pho! The old one by astate went to crap. Their pho here is exceptional! Very delicious and overall a homie meal, although I did ask for just the beef ball not their steak & brisket pho, it was charged as if I had asked for their steak and brisket, should’ve been at least a $1 cheaper since it didn’t have more than the one type of meat. And not even on the menu, I had asked just for pho with beef balls. Nonetheless their Thai tea is also delicious! Although for the price wish we’d be given a bit more, but knowing the prep of Thai i understand the price point. The waiters were attentive and nice. And the atmosphere is quite nice!
*now since most people have to cross the crosswalk from the parking lot on the opposite side, can I remind people you are to STOP for pedestrians on the side waiting to walk across. Pedestrians have the right of way and by LAW you are to yield to them. Some people are...
Read moreViet Kitchen is an absolute gem in Jonesboro, offering fresh, flavorful Vietnamese cuisine with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere.
On our visit, we ordered the Chicken Pho, Crispy Veggie Roll, Veggie Pho Noodle Soup, Strawberry and Mango Sodas, onion soup and the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich. Each dish was cooked to perfection, packed with bold flavors, and served in portions large enough for leftovers.
The Banh Mi Sandwich stood out, it was the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with tender grilled chicken and fresh toppings. My friends both had Pho, and the restaurant’s variety of vegetarian options made it easy for my vegetarian friend to find something she loved.
Whether you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, Viet Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be...
