KFC — Restaurant in Jonesboro

Staff was rude. Is not posted drive-thru only. Went to order inside and got snapped at by the staff. They grudgingly let my 90 or mother use their bathroom. When I ordered our food through the drive-thru it was messed up and they did not give me a receipt. I ordered their big meal that was four piece of three sides of biscuit and a drink for $8.99. We had ordered original recipe and the free size were macaroni and cheese coleslaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. Somehow they misconstrued mac and cheese as corn because that's what they gave me and I cannot stand on their corn neither can my mother and we were sharing this meal. When I called them they acted like I was breaking some kind of law passing them. Needless to say the way they acted I just didn't even bother to go back. I was actually afraid that they would do something to the macaroni and cheese if they replaced it. Also the chicken breast and Wing cases like they had either left it in the fryer too long or had substituted extra crispy. It was hard as a rock. The place was dirty. Took me a minute to find a table that appeared clean. There were bits of food underneath every table. The self serve drink station wasn't stocked, and there was water everywhere. It took me forever to get my order. There wasn't a single hair net in the whole kitchen, and everybody loses hair. Other customers smelled like weed, but thats not the fault of kfc. My wife told me not to eat kfc because she knew that I'd know it was going to be a disappointment. Listen I grew up with kfc, and it was always the best. I've always love the original recipe, but sadly it's not the greatest anymore. I can accept that our taste preferences change. I ordered a 3-piece combo, original, and I paid extra for white meat. The wing was good but the two breasts were inedible. The meat was tough like shoe leather and after chewing and chewing for nearly two minutes, I ended up spitting it out. I try to eat healthy food, and seldom indulge in fried foods like KFC. This was a treat, and therefore I was very disappointed. The sides were good, as expected (mashed potatoes and slaw), the drive-through was pretty quick, and staff was friendly, which why I gave this restaurant two stars instead of one. Perhaps the chicken was so tough because it wasn't fresh? Maybe sitting under heat lamps all day? Maybe this was an off-day, but with so many other fast food and small restaurants in the vicinity, I would not chose to eat here...
