Cato Fashions — Local services in Jonesboro

Well I went into this Jonesboro location tonight and needless to say I will not be back in this location again, I will definitely make an extra drive and go elsewhere... When I walked in, I spoke to a worker there that I had been talking to and asked about because she is going thru a lot at the moment but she didn't even acknowledge me. I walked around to see if I wanted to exchange my items I had to return but I didn't see anything and so when I went on the other side, a worker stopped me and wanted my bag to put up at the counter, like I was going to steal something then when she put it up there, I seen the girl up at the register look at it then when I went up to the register for her to make my return transaction, she was checking my items as if I was returning dirty clothes or trying to return stolen items!!!! Then when I went to leave, I didn't get a thank-you or anything and I was being nice the whole time but NEVER AGAIN and like I said earlier, I will not be coming back to this location, I will definitelymake the drive to other Cato locations!!!! It's a shame that some of us good people get treated the way we are all because that one person has to mess it up for...

I love Cato I have shopped at many of them across the country over the years. I can’t usually leave without spending at least a couple hundred each visit. I have been to 4 different stores in the past month. Unfortunately the Jonesboro location was a complete let down today. Their customer service was completely lacking. There were four of us and we were ignored and made to feel like we were a bother. Prices were not accurately marked. Also no bathroom for nine month pregnant women to use. I wish there were more clothing items like the old Cato. The Cato plus style nowadays is not my preference. I used to love the Cato clothing items, but now the clothes are for a different group of women. I still adore the jewelry, but I wish they would bring back the watches and fragrances.
