Tropical Sno Jonesboro — Restaurant in Jonesboro

This is the closest sno cone kiosk to me. I like it. They are all the same. Today they had a young man working by himself who was entirely overwhelmed. We waited 20 minutes in line to get 2 small sno cones. Three people who were ahead of us left while we were there waiting for our turn. Management should get him some help or provide additional training. He took a LOT of time to make the snow cones but at least ours were the right flavor and size and so were everyone else's it seemed, there seemed to be no mistakes and aside from the long wait, everyone got what was ordered. And there was plenty of flavor with no unflavored ice...

Wonderful service, friendly staff, and delicious snocones! Try the Summer Breeze if you're feeling a good vibe, the Frog in a Blender for something quirky, or Wedding Cake for a classic. You can also get ICE CREAM in the bottom. Unlike other snocone places, the ice is hand shaved (with gloves of course), and it helps it soak up the syrup so you get the best amount of flavor, melty goodness, and sweetness. Make sure you tip these guys because they normally work by themselves and deal with lines as long as Shadrachs sometimes. Worth a trip, worth your time, and oh...

The guy (without an arm - as he sarcastically joked) closed early as we were next in line - my daughter is Autistic and we had to deal with her meltdown because she didn’t get to get a snowcone. There were at least 1/2 a dozen people in line behind us as well. He got mad and apparently broke/busted his tablet because the WiFi was being slow - so then he decided he was closing and he announced it to everyone in line when there was still 20 minutes until close. Dude needs to be fired and needs to get some...
