Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Joplin

I just moved to a tiny little town in Ks and the closest JJ's to me is this location a 2.5 hour's drive from my home. This past Saturday I made the journey to get a sub from my favorite place. No regrets! The girl that helped me at the register was very nice and answered all my questions about the new sub. Once I ordered she double-checked the customizations I had made to the sub as she was making it to insure perfection. Once I received the sub I realized I forgot to ask for it to be cut in half and asked the gentleman by the counter if they had any plastic knives so I could cut it myself. He said they did not but then took my sandwich and cut it for me, saying that it was no biggie, just replacing it with a fresh clean knife afterward. Shame on you! Saying that a customer is out of your delivery area when you have delivered there many times before.

Even worse, both Jimmy John's managers going behind the scenes and calling each other to keep from delivering to said customer's house.

We used to love eating here... not any more.

By the way, word of mouth is a powerful tool... I was not the customer you did not deliver to, it was my daughter... my grand baby is very sick, and my daughter can't get out of the house to pick up a JJ order.

My 6 year old granddaughter was SO excited about JJ delivering again, since her mommy could not get out...and this lunch was supposed to help give them some encouragement and lift their spirits.

Placed a delivery order at 11...went to reception to check on it after 12, she said someone else had gotten a sandwich a little earlier and they had left 2 drinks she didnt order. They weren't our drink order either, and no sandwiches. When calling to ask about our order, the manager said it was already delivered and our receptionist screwed up. Took a 15 minute phone call to get him to agree to "redo" our order while we could hear the delivery girl in the background agreeing with us.
