Casey's — Restaurant in Junction City

I've been a customer for years, an employee ( seemingly newer) really rubbed me the wrong way with their assumption that I didn't say, "Hi," when I did so in a quiet tone twice. I don't know why this male employee had the audacity to start laughing, but he did all because he didn't hear my quiet responses. People do go through things in life and have days/weeks that they're off. I have severe PTSD/depression/anxiety and rarely leave the house anymore as it progressively keep getting worse. I can be soft spoken as I am mentally exhausted. I also already don't feel comfortable around men, especially those who cannot act without entitlement. No man is entitled to get a woman's attention, especially unwanted. Take the hint and just cash people out. I already felt like I was getting gawked at, I do not want the attention. Been through enough with the MST. I just wanted my pizza (which thank you so much, it was amazing) and a few beverages. Not the first time we’ve ordered here but it’ll be the last. Over an hour and half wait at the store for our food just for it to be wrong. Should we have tripled check before we left, yes. Did we ? No. Because they said they messed up and remade our order right then. We were under the assumption it was the correct order and we had children that were incredibly restless. Anyways, we get home, it’s wrong and we call and the first thing out of the mouth is “we won’t refund you your money , you paid partly in points.” Okay? No apology. My job brought me to junction City, Ks. 5:30 in the morning, the only place open and serving breakfast was Casey's. They always have a great lineup of breakfast pizza, biscuits and gravy along with donuts and rolls. They also have great breakfast bowls. Being a vegetarian I'm looking through the selection and everything seems to contain meat. Talking with the cook, she offers a solution for a breakfast bowl that contains potatoes cheese and some salsa along with some eggs. She made my Day. A big shout out to one of the best cooks at Casey's, Ashley!
