You must stop in at Pinder seafood and pick out your favorite fish. In my case, it is flounder and I didn’t even have to ask for the clerk to take out the middle bone on the fillet. He politely asked to do so. Then when I went to the friendly cashier to pay, I noticed they had homemade cookies quite the selection I may add. I finally chose oatmeal cranberry. A touch pricey for the cookies but well worth it. This is a classic family owned fish market located conveniently on old Dixie off of Tequesta Drive next-door to Habitat for Humanity thrift shop, can’t wait to go fishing again at Pinder seafood! Hope to see you there, the easy way to fish for your days catch. Fortunately for me Pinder’s is on my drive home from work and they are open until 6ish.

Friendly and helpful staff. They will sometimes offer samples of their chowders. They have prepared seafood all of which we have tried has been great. Special mention to the marinated baby octopus 🐙and the clam chowder. Cinnamon rolls prepared daily are great as well. All the raw seafood we have gotten there has been very fresh tasting. Prices are a little on the higher end but fair most of the time. Also got a lucky Pea crab🩀 in two of my Blue point oystersđŸŠȘ. As you can see in the video the crabs were alive and moving so you know they were fresh oystersđŸ€™

Pinder's Seafood & Marketplace is probably the best fish and seafood market around . They have large selection of fresh fish, shellfish, lobsters, clams, and more. They offer an assortment of sides like baked potatoes, cold seafood salads, sauces and other items. The service and the staff are extremely helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking fresh seafood in the area!

I had an absolutely horrible experience there today. I called to inquire about the market because I saw them on the internet and showed interest in buying fish there instead of my usual grocery store. Well my wife and I picked out a large Pompano. Just one. Anyway the lady popped it in the scale and off so fast I did not see the price. The prices of the fish per pound was not posted as it is in most grocery stores. We’ll after they cleaned the fish as we asked I was handed a bag with a single fish. $43 dollars. Omg. I was in shock. I wanted to give it back but the owner hurried over and said that after they can not resell that so I was stuck with it. I walk away saying I’ll never ever come back. Here are the facts. My usual Grocery store which is Foodtown sells Pompano for $3 per pound. This store sold me a fish for $16 per pound.....over 5 times the amount. Well it’s true that at Foodtown the fish is posted as coming from China and is Farm Raised. I can only assume that at Pinders the fish is caught locally. The lady manager never did say or post where she gets her fish so I dont know.

In conclusion. I have eaten the Pompano at Foodtown. It tasted fine. Is Pinders 5 times better. I’ll find out when we cook it later. Will I ever go back and pay those crazy high prices no.

For $43 I could have gone to a fine restaurant and had them cook the fish for me with veggies and a salad and desert.

Way way too...

I will NEVER go to Pinder's again!!!! It was an awful experience. I drove up and noticed people standing in the parking lot. I also noticed people in their car. I heard people placing orders all around me. I read the sign on the board that said " Call and place your order." I called and placed my order. They told me 30 minutes. I told them I was waiting in the parking lot. I noticed every time the older women came out and called the names of people waiting she also asked for other names who were waiting. It was about 5 min before my 30 min was up. I asked why others who had come after me were taken care of but, I'm still waiting for my order? She said something is wrong with my credit card...then she yelled "This isn't Wendy's!" Then yelled "You're early!" Then two min later another guy brings my food out. This kind of bullying is unacceptable! Btw, I ordered 2 quarts of soup and a dozen oysters. If the lady on the phone didn't take my credit card already, I would've walked away. Unfortunately, I had already paid. Terrible...
