A good place to get a cup of Joe in the Jupiter area. Starbucks, the renowned coffeehouse chain, began in 1971 when founders Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker opened the first store in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market. Initially, they focused on selling high-quality coffee beans and equipment. Over the decades, the company expanded its offerings to include a variety of handcrafted beverages and food items, becoming a global brand. As of December 31, 2024, Starbucks operates 17,011 stores across the United States, with approximately 913 locations in Florida. The current crop of locations typically offers customers a pleasant place to relax and have a cup of their favorite beverage. In Jupiter, Florida, Starbucks has several locations, each providing a consistent and welcoming experience for coffee fans. I recently visited the store at 5500 Military Trail in Jupiter, FL. It is located at the west end of a large strip center. There is ample parking and convenient access for both locals and visitors. As with all their locations, you order at one part of the counter near the door and pick up your order farther down the counter. The staff was very friendly and professional. Prices are a little higher than other coffee shops. The store was clean. There was limited seating indoor and additional seating along the walkway in front of the store under an overhang. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend for others visiting the area and wanting a good...
Read moreI’m a local in the neighborhood that visits this location extremely often. I’ve watched this location just go downhill in service and professionalism. They are so slow even when there are no customers. My coffee is not a difficult order. A child could get it right…. However, the employees that work here just can’t seem to grasp the easiest task of it. Then they all have an attitude when I tell them it’s wrong. I always tell them with whip cream. It says it on sticker with order but for some reason just can’t handle putting it on. When I ask politely they respond with attitude. I get people can be demanding with an order. But come on, when I’m happily paying almost $7… for a simple latte. What is the issue??? How about have standards in hiring. I frequent all the surrounding locations, but this one is the worst. I was approached by one of the managers a few months back and she asked me where I had been lately. And that they noticed a significant drop in customers.. at the time I didn’t want to be rude to her because she truly is a sweet lady. But now I’m over it. I can see why, the service is horrible. The people working now behind the counter are complete idiots. They could careless about anything going on in day to day work. Hopefully you will read this and take notice and try and make it better. Because it is a...
Read moreAfter a long week, I wanted to treat my boys to breakfast before their first activity. I put in my drink by mobile order so it would be ready and then went to the store so my boys could pick what they wanted based on what was available. My mobile order was ready, but we then had to wait over 25 minutes to order and receive two muffins that simply had to be put in a bag. The person at the register was going to get them for us, when the manager told her food could wait because there was a growing line. They only had one person on the register. We waited another 15 minutes and when I asked about our status, the manager spoke back to me in a rude tone that they had many people to serve. At this point, the line was out the door. This is a constant problem at THIS Starbucks. I actually installed the mobile app simply to avoid waiting in their lines. (I really don’t care about the points.) Either they need to hire more staff or rethink how they manage the flow of traffic. Given that I could have walked to Publix and picked up four muffins in less time and for less money, it was a really unpleasant experience. Instead of eating breakfast together, we were running late. Can’t see why I...
